Ross, I'll get some daylight pics tomorrow. I forgot about them-sorry.
This arrived today......
The red cap on the lower left hand corner is an ECM line cover. Another Corvette friend had this made for his car. He sent his C7 to Callaway for Super Charging. So he couldn't use it. He gave it to me!
I was going to have it done to match the other carbon fiber in the engine bay, but I'm kind of liking it in red!

Just the right amount of contrast! Everything is coming along awesome Steven.
Maybe you won't be able to use that ECM cover for too much longer either, for the same reason as the other guy. lol

^^^ Jeremy, I don't think anyone is making a full carbon fiber exposed hood yet. And, actually-the hood IS carbon fiber. It's just painted carbon fiber! It's so light, it feel amazing when you open it up.
Guys, I made the mistake of going to the Apsis USA.com website. This is the company that made all my interior carbon fiber pieces (i.e.: flat-bottom steering wheel, center console, waterfall, dash switches for Head-Up display and door switches for the windows).
They have the paddle shifters and 4 other switches in carbon fiber. I made a deal with the owner for a sweet deal on this paddle shifters and switches. They are being made and will hopefully be here soon!

Great shots Steven! Loving that emblem close up...centered, bokeh with the grass so it put the emblem in the narrow field...very nice.
When shooting angles or even horizons...pay attention to the line across the horizon, or the vertical lines like buildings or trees...use them to pick a straight line to help frame the shot. Your mind automatically goes WTFFFF when you look at a picture and something is off center or it feels like the subject isn't lined up. You may not realize it, but you do.
I did notice you got lower in your angles and that was a huge improvement...in addition to you lighting being much better. Great improvements!

Steven....Your vette is simply stunning! I know you have invested lots of time, energy and money into it but trust me when I say, it is worth it! You have a vehicle that many of us here on Acurazine can only dream of.

^^^^ Brother, it's an interesting story.....
I always wanted a Lamborghini. That white Coutach was the poster on my wall as a teenager.
In saving for this car, I was still focused on a scissor-doored Lambo. But, one day I Googled "Maintenance Cost for a 12 cylinder Lamborghini". I was shocked......
An oil change was $2,000. A new clutch replacement was $12,000! I was ready for the cost of the car, I was ready for the insurance cost. I was NOT ready for the maintenance costs. That's when I shifted my focus from Lamborghini to other cars like Porsche, Jaguar and Maserati.
If I DID get my Lamborghini, I would want one with the Carbon Fiber accents, just like I've done to this Corvette. Someone said to me, "Steven, then this car IS your Lamborghini!" That statement might be true. I've dress this Corvette just like I would have liked my 12 cylinder Lambo to be.

I'll be attending the National Corvette Museum Bash where there will be exhausts can be added while you wait!
I'll check them out again. But honestly, it sounds great just the way it is.

If there's a better time to do it, I sure as hell can't think of one Steven. Do it!!!!!
What better way to top off a meet at the National Vette Museum than with a new exhaust on your own Vette?!

Exactly! Let me know if you can make it.
Ross, my hesitation is that it will cost me about $2,000, but the horsepower gain is only about 20 horsepower. That's $100 per horse.......
I was about to do it last year at Bloomington Gold, but that's what held me up.
