Glad you posted that picture, KK!

It's an amazing feeling. I remember telling the dealership on a Friday that I'd buy the car. I asked them to put Expel on the nose and a 20% tint. I didn't get my Stingray until that next Tuesday.

It was a LONG weekend. Tell your friend congratulations.

Hey, I'm all for a friendly Carbon Fiber war......

Just for the hell of it, I looked up the Carbon Fiber side vents and the upper vents. They make them, but for the entire set, it would be about $1,000. Don't know if I'm up for that right now.

I wouldn't mind doing the vents on the side and the upper vents. If I do them, do I HAVE to do the tails?

Here's my thought process......

All the lower outside parts are done in Carbon Fiber (front splitter, side skirts and lower rear fascia).

Everything above that is done in the black metallic (called Carbon Flash by GM). That includes the side vents, upper vents and rear taillight trim.

So my question to you is this....if I do the side vents and upper vents, will it look weird not having the rear tail light trim NOT done in Carbon Fiber?

I can get the side vents and the upper vents together for the same price as the set of the taillight trim in Carbon Fiber.

It won't look weird, not to mention Christmas is just around the corner so you can drop some hints around "All I want for Christmas is some CF parts lalalalalala" lol.

I checked on the side vents and upper vents. With a 10% discount, the entire set is $918.

Free shipping but that price does not include installation, which requires removal of quarter panels for installation......

I'm still considering it....I'll probably get them, but I'm holding off for now. They won't be available until mid-October anyway.

I say go find yourself a nice full exhaust, cause I heard one the other day with some kind of exhaust and it sounded fantastic.

^^^ Tyler, I went to Bloomington Gold this summer and Corsa was there. There were installing full exhausts WHILE YOU WAITED!

They wanted $2,000 for an exhaust for my car. I didn't get it because it MAYBE gave you an extra 20 HP. My exhaust already sounds great-I would sound good with a Corsa exhaust. But for only an extra 20 HP.....no thanks.

How much HP has all that CF added to your car?

20HP gain from an exhaust is nothing to sneeze at. When are we going to get some performance upgrades for this car? I know you say its "fine" where it sits on that level, but that's what you said about the exterior before you got all the CF bits.

Intake/headers/exhaust/tune and you're sitting pretty with some good numbers. Shop around find the deals! I'm sure there's group buys and whatnot for the car, right?
