Reading this thread almost makes me not to want to take the purist approach with my NSX. My current mantra is "wheels, exhaust, modern radio, done!"

BTW, do you have a sound clip of your exhaust somewhere? Still choosing. I won't install one until my car comes out of hibernation in the spring, but would like to decide and get the parts sooner.

Edit: So does yours drone?

A few more parts outside of the list you mentioned won't hurt lol.

It's funny you ask about a sound clip. I actually found an old one on my laptop last night. I'm at work right now but I'll upload it when I get home.

As far as drone in the cabin it doesn't but for anyone following you yes. I drove for an hour with friends behind me last weekend and they said it was loud but I also have intake, headers and high flow cats. I always get compliments on the way the exhaust sounds though.

Bob one part even a lot of purist will do is the 02-05 rear valence update. Definitely makes the rear look more up to date looking.

Wheels + SUSPENSION. I will kill you if you upsize to larger wheels and don't adjust your suspension to at least the Bilsteins.

OK, OK, OK. I'll cry "uncle" and at least look at the Bilsteins. On the lower perch, they give just under an inch drop, and I get to keep the stock springs. I don't need a full coilover system, my car's not going to be tracked enough to justify the KW setup that many track folks are in love with on Prime.

^I am on stock springs, lower perch - Bilsteins and spacers if you didn't know. May want to check out one of my threads. But agree with the gentlemen above.

your pictures were what made me not settle for another wheel and get the Advan RS again...absolutely awesome and I take what you say as gospel.

I tried my best to buy my old set back from my friend for a while but he wasn't budging. So I had to track down a brand new set.

wow, looks much much better!

i feel you on the wheels...went through the exact same bout with the advan RS I had on my previous S2000...I missed them so much...only difference is I kept in touch with the new owner who had bought mine for the rear only and had another set for the fronts, so he split the sets and sold them back to me. I ended up powderoating mega grey and couldn't be happier!

Yea I was ready to switch it up. I'm going to store my old wheels and get them refinished next year and have the faces done in a different color.

Lol I do too but if I put them back on I don't want the same look I had before. I'm such a wheel whore who knows I might get another set and not even put them back on even longer.

Sorry, not a fan of white with the red/tan/black theme you have going.
Your 2 other sets looked great.

But as long as you like!
