so the front plate bracket is mounted under the bumper, so I was hoping the dealer didn't need to drill into the bumper..what do you know, they drilled one hole in the bumper

So I'm tracking my mileage on fuelly, and I'm averaging 38.8 mpg. Not bad

Yea, it's a very comfortable car and the fiancée genuinely loves it.

It's slow, and it's hard to pass on the way to the coast, but I'm pretty content for now.

If it had an extra 20hp, and maybe a 6AT, I bet the car would really drive differently.

I got it done at the coast. It was a little more than Fresno, but it was more convenient since Mindi was there, so I didn't have to go without a car.

It was 275 for the whole car. A shop in fresno quoted me 225, another 200 even. It just depends.

I really like the new civic and the fuel economy is awesome! Glad to see Honda updated the looks because the 2012 civic was nothing but ugly.

You went to that Pismo place huh?

Guess I just have to yelp and call around, I would go to my tint place out here but since they're dealing with dealers now and tinting windows for them and have became a booming business they are started to charge more.

Yea, I almost bought a '12. I drove 3 hours for one and it was sold right before I arrived. Good thing too, I'm not sure if I would have been 100% happy as the '13 really is that much nicer in and out.

I just wish it had more power, but I guess I can't have everything right now. I will get another fun car when I stop having to drive so much.

Plus, it actually is kinda fun ( when there's not a lot of traffic) to see what kinda of mileage I can get.

It will drop as I drive to work and back. I've yet to take it on a major road trip. Hoping to see 500+ when we head to Vegas.

the word Civic comes up about 30 times on this page. However more than half of them are in your signature Crazy Asian.

So I'm getting a new sunroof and door panel.

The trim around my sunroof is fading/deteriorating, so they are replacing the whole sunroof.

And I'm not sure why, if its the new "soft materials," but my driver door panel is showing wear and fading where I rest my elbow when I drive. So they are replacing that too.

I might as well see what they can do with the hole they drilled in the bumper while I'm at it

Good thing about the Civic is that there are plenty of drivetrain mods to (mildly) help with the power issue. Maybe even just an intake and header would help without attracting any attention.

Fog lights ordered through Tim, now I have to find a Honda lot to do it since the lot where I purchased my car from won't do it.

The dealer at the coast should be able to do it for me since they gave me a quote for install only.
