I needed more frugal, comfortable car for all the driving i do, so i bought a new civic. I was going to buy a 2012, but i didn't think that i was going to be happy with the improved '13 being out. So i got a new '13 EX sedan.

its slow, but hey, I'm happy. I saw my MPG as high as 43 on my way to the coast. I can't complain

Congrats. I hope you enjoy the new ride. That highway mpg is impressive. The best I ever got in my wagon was 32.5 mpg on a long highway trip.

Nice pickup! The new Civics are pretty nice.

Any mods planned (in particular, a drop to correct that horrible wheel gap) or are you keeping it stock?

Good move finally. Should satisfy most of your many concerns, enjoy. 13's are supposed to be much better than 12's as well.

Yea, we had a nice heat wave for a few days. As drove up to the coast, it was still in the 90's.

Thankfully, I'm still at the coast, and its back in the 60's

I've heard so many things about Selma Automall and Dwight Nelson that I didn't even bother with them.

Plus, my parents have bought three cars from Honda North, but our salesman had already retired.

Cool.

My co-worker just got one of them as well. Mazda pissed him off and Zoom-Zoomed back to Honda. It rides very well.

Yea, I thought about getting a newer Mazda3 hatch since I liked the versatility of the MS3, but there were some quality issues with my Mazda, so I decided to go Honda.

Plus my fiancée didn't like the idea of another Mazda. He hated my Speed3

I actually like the MMC Civics. Good choice.

Is an HF or even hybrid that much more fuel efficient from the numbers I've just seen?

im not too sure. I think the HF was rated at 41mpg.

I hit 41mpg while averaging 60-70mph and the car isn't even close to being broken-in. It can only go up.

Tint got done today and it looks great. It was too dark for pics when I picked it up, so I will post some pics tomorrow.

I ended up doing 5% for the rear and 45% on the front. Hopefully I don't get hassled for the front.

Tint pics will come soon. I either have a really bad sprain, or a small fracture in my foot. But I'm out of town right now. We're just about to leave our hotel and head to Laguna Seca for LeMans.

Ill post pics when I get back home to the valley.
