For comparison, the OEM mirror is 8.75" wide and 2.5" tall, and it's way too intrusive on forward vision....Hmmm, may need to just stick to a more simple 3"-4" monitor....

Showing some love...Protecting the paint with Venture Shield...Covering the entire nose, headlight, turn signal, full rocker panel, side view mirror, the area around the keyhole/button to open the door, under the fuel cap, and parts of the rear bumper.

Received the parts I ordered, but the radiator is on back order, so I am waiting for it to come in by the end of the month, then i'll be taking everything apart to get the car in the shape it needs to be in. Exhaust is in too! Not installed yet, though...

How much did they charge for the full front wrap with VentureShield? I am considering doing the same on my M3...

They aren't done yet, and I'm negotiating with the guy. The installers attempted to give me a bill of close to $1k for it all, and I called the owner and blasted him because he did more to my Mini for about half, there's no reason why this car should be that much more when it's such a small car and not a whole lot to cover. I give this guy a lot of business, as well as referred a few other companies to him that has him even busier, and he has me to thank, but he isn't thanking me at the pricing he told me. They are coming back to finish the few other pieces and i'll figure out the total cost at that point.

So, I was quoted around $600 for just the front end a 1/3 of the way up the hood. If I want a full wrap of the hood, front fenders, A pillars, etc they were quoting around $1500. The front of the car is the most complex, the rest should be a bit more straightforward. Maybe it's just the material cost that is driving it up so high? I didn't negotiate with him too much at that point, so maybe there is room to go down...

Full nose including splitter, full rocker panels, the corner of the rear quarters wrapping around the sides of the bumper, and the mirror caps, $800. Still not happy with the price, but what can I do. Promised me he would make it up to me on something else.

I'm starting to think I should have gone with the Larini Sport SC exhaust. It's slightly louder than this one. This is the quietest one they make, more tuned to open up as the revs raise, and to keep within the noise standards on certain tracks. We'll have to see after I put it on, I guess...

I don't mind them. Plus, they illuminate when the headlights are on.

So I noticed when I picked the car up that the car shakes a little at high speed. Figuring I need a balance or maybe they might be bent on the inside of the wheels because there was no obvious bends on the outside, I said i'll get to it when I get the wheels off the car..No bend on the inner OR outer lip, but I see this:
