What's the mileage now?
I ran a Durango RT for fun when I was on my way to my girlfriend's house early Sunday morning. The road was pretty empty and we ran from a dig. I gave him 4 car head start and I didn't reel him in until I hit about 80mph and we shut down shortly after.
Not really comparing to the SRT8, but the RTs haul ass for an SUV.

[QUOTE=TylerT;15287629]What's the mileage now?
/QUOTE]
1400 miles
getting 13.5-14.5 in the city
15-17 on the highway.
Hard not to open it up on the freeway when I get the chance. But reality is Im not driving this any where near as aggressively as I did the Challenger. There are times I want to...and I just take my foot off the gas.

Finally had time to install my catch can. I have some crappy pics, dark garage and rain outside. Its just the standard billet tech catch can in satin with a clear base.

Nice mod. Such a necessity on our engines. You thinking intake at some point, too?

I need to order a canvasback liner for the rear cargo area for my gear, just using blankets right now.
I'm debating about a set of weather tech window deflectors (its a truck, I can get away with it)
I do eventually want to get an intake. I want the Volant with the dry filter, but I need to see if they are CARB certified. I know the Mopar one is, and its one of the better performing CAIs, but Ive never been a fan of the looks.
I would also LOVE the Corsa exhaust that came out last year...it sounds amazing. But its also pricey.
Aside from those few things...maybe a set of springs to lower it just a hair and tighten up the handling (which is already impressive as Ive had this on mountain twisties already.)

Yeah, I wish I still had my SP can from the other car. But I like that this one is clear so I can see the oil build up.

Volant CAIs are definitely nice looking. My AFE came with a CARB sticker IIRC. Don't know about the Volants, but yeah, the Mopar one is probably my least favorite as far as looks go.
Springs would be really nice. What companies make them for the Durango? Hopefully it doesn't use Nivomats like the Chargers/Challengers so you won't have to replace the shocks, too.

The truck does have a self leveling suspension...but all my reading says you can use springs, the rear will still drop, just not as much.
I have to look up the name of the company that makes the springs again. But that is something so far off in the future, lol.
I want to get the AFE intake for my wife's Cherokee, everything Ive read says it makes a HUGE difference in feel.

I ordered the whole kit during their christmas sale...I just went with everything that was standard, no upgrades...almost did the SS lines, but said, "F it" I'm doing some mods to this car but nothing to also up the show level like the Challenger. The kit is functional as purchased and blends with the stock engine. Im even keeping the engine cover on this time around.
Rain stopped, sun came out, and I needed to add some hose clamps on the engine side as the fit was loose so here are some photos:

I'm out of the fuckin loop...sorry to hear about your challenger. Glad you and the cute kiddos were unscathed.
And to a very nicely equipped SUV, under invoice at zero apr. I love my TL...but I don't complain when we take the wife's SRX-4 out either.

Yesterday marked the 6 month anniversary of the wreck
Today, I received my canvasback liner for the Durango. I'd been meaning to order one since I bought the car, but with a specific project coming up where I'm going to be carrying lots of heavy gear now was the time to finally order one.
This thing is amazing. Its made to order, handmade in the US (Minnesota) and the order sheet comes with the initials of the three people who cut, sew, and tested each piece. It fits damn near like stock and looks great. I got the full back, the side pieces and the 24" bumper flap. Such a great product, very excited.

How's the durango holding up? That liner looks pretty good. I love how it extends over the bumper. I ordered one for the V backseat (looks similar but not custom). It works well, but I decided keep it tucked away in the trunk. I use it when the pup is in the back or hauling heavy gear.

The Durango has been great...just over 6k miles and getting ready for its first oil change. Comfy and has all the creature comforts with plenty of room.
Drove it out to Vegas in April with the kids car seats in the 3rd row, my wife and dad in the 2nd row, and my mom and myself upfront. Plus all of our luggage for a week. It was great.

Mine consisted of the cover, the added sides, and the added bumper flap.

Awesome liner.
My "liner" is this giant plastic cover that was used to wrap up a large ottoman-coffee-table we had bought for the living room a couple years back. So ghetto.

Couple updates.
After having the damn thing for 10 months I FINALLY had time to get the windows tinted. SOOO much happier.
I also had my CA legacy plates arrive, grabbed those from the DMV and some black lic plate screws.
Car is filthy and I can't wash it until the tint sets...so enjoy some iPhone pics of a dirty ride

Thanks...I originally had ordered them when I had the Challenger. Still think they look good.
I see too many other cars around here now that just feel like they shouldn't have this style of plate, oh well.
BTW...how did you like the theater here?

Crazy to think that it's almost been a year since your Challenger was totaled, time flies

That rear cover looks awesome. Just went and looked and they seem to only make them for SUVs unfortunately.
