Will the ninny's fix it if I don't correct at all and just let off the gas? The F was the first rear wheel drive car and once I put the 11in rears with 295s on it you couldn't really break it lose no matter how hard I pushed it.

Track day bros. Get your car out on the track and do some laps. Push the limit and see where it starts to get squirrely and what it takes to get back in line. A few offs into the dirt shouldn't hurt much but your ego but you start to see what it feels like without smashing into a crowd of wannabe youtube virals at Cars and Coffee (Bustang, bro?).

All you're really doing is getting some momentum going before the ninny's kick in (turn, just before your car straightens out - elbow of turn - acceleration 3/4 throttle). That moment before it takes over is the slide, the moment the ninny's take over is when it gets the car going straight again. So you're off the gas anyways. It's just the good 1/2 second blip of throttle that gets her butt out in the turn (carrying the momentum of the turn).

Hey, they want a show amirite. Also, those idiots stay into the throttle way too much. Then smash on the brake like they're hitting the ejecto seat cuz. Track day is for racing, I'm just talking about some mild hooligannnning (no limits being tested).

Yeah, the vast majority of "cars n coffee" type crash videos I've seen I just keep wondering WTF really happened. Like, after the "ohshit" point, there is absolutely 0 input until Newtonian physics has settled the argument and the Mustang (or whatever car, ) is pissing coolant all on a palm tree.

Maybe target fixation? Maybe just loss of control (car and bowels)? Maybe just lack of experience?

Growing up in a place with A) winters, and B) RWD vehicles, I got acclimated to a loosey goosey rear end (TWSS).

You can certainly have a lot of fun on the street, but an afternoon hitting apexes on a track does wonders for learning your limits. I took my wife (well, really she coerced me to go) to a track day with her plain jane daily driver Accord. It was by far the slowest car on track, but she learned how to drive the snot out of it. And learned the limits by backing it into the weeds a few times. But it was money well spent. A+ highly recommended.

Plus, Porsche 911 GT ride alongs? Yes please!

Bob, I cheated, that was from previous owner...probably over the life of the car. At least I know she wasn't beat to shit! (before being put on the transport )
Good news, transport contacted me back today and are pushing for me to get a quote/ballpark to repair so they can close that case. They didn't want to be in the bad graces of a classic car guy (seller) that already told me he'd light them up all over the internet and tell every other dealer he knows to stay away from them.

Fun stories of the day:

The V makes you friends.
5 union dudes talked to me, a lowly CS peon.
I lit up a V6 Camaro that cut me off really badly...he pulled up next to me like "that thing is fast" and thanked me for biting.
Then got a thumbs up from a JGC SRT on the way home from basketball.

Fucking car is a conversation piece!
