If Fram were that terrible they wouldnt be on the shelves anymore. Getting into the very fine details its easy to say one is better than the other. Its like paper racing, Real world is something different though. Yes there are times different construction has advantages over another, but for the average person, they will be just fine. Not to mention the Tough Guards are decent filters. On the rare occurrence that i find a deal on something different for a better price, the only filter i have ever used is Fram. Never in over a million miles of driving have i ever had an engine issue (related to oil/filtration). The TL runs on 15-20k oil change intervals with Fram (usually, but not always swapped out at the half way point), Lapping days, Idling all day long for work. Quality oil will do your engine more good than a cheap filter will do it harm, especially if the engine is in good operating shape to begin with

I can't believe you were thinking of getting rid of that Rio Goddess for that Laguna Sh*t!!!
Don't get me wrong, I love LSB and was looking at a Laguna Seca E46 M3 Vert' myself at one point, but now as we near 2017, you'd have to be crazy to trade your classic AP2 Rio Yellow S2K for one....

Fatty for sure...I was mainly upset at the Fram because the o-ring kinked and it was leaking, but I guess that means I didn't lube it well enough. Oh well..either way, I'll just plan ahead with the oem filters from now on.
2K...thanks brother, I was thinking that same thing...the damn car is such a damn joy to drive in the evenings...highway fun, curvy fun and looks nice! I would have regretted.

I must say J, you take such good care of your cars. No joke, watching your threads / updates pour through gives me motivation to give similar care to mine

You were thinking of selling the S2k for a laguna M3 vert? J I am not joking if you end up thinking of selling your S please let me know. I want to buy it. White is my first choice personally but yellow has always been a very close second.

Had it been in good running condition, it would be a tough choice .. both cars (to me) are very desirable.

Thanks guys...very much.
Very nice compliments in here from some of the guys...thanks T especially.
I agree too...I wrote off yellow because I traditionally don't like yellow cars, but something about it on this...maybe the :ghey: little honda convertible and the :ghey: yellow color cancel each other out?!? LOL...
Jason, who knows what the future holds, man...Johnny definitely was close to having his hands on it though already. bidding war!?!?
Love you guys.

The car looks great... The top just finishes it off..
I hear what you're saying about yellow, but it depends on the car.. Your cars looks great in yellow, IMO so does a Z06, 911 and few others..
But yellow on lets say a CTS-V wagon... IMO it would look

It's my friend that does this...
we dry sanded 600...then he finished with 800/1000/2000/3000...
then 1 tack and 2 heavy coats of high end 2K clear over them.
They don't need further polish after that, it looks like new plastic.

Been slackin a bit...
some major life changes these days.
Today was a nice foggy morning, decided to go take a few new shots.
Still love driving the car...such a visceral driving experience and very very different from driving the V.
I crave driving the other when I get my fill of the one I'm in, which is awesome. #firstworldproblems #spoiledandsoiledbitch

Such a good combo. Love those wheels on the S J.

Thanks Jason...
I was so in love with them...I really wanted to try and find a set that would work on the Vagon too, but then I thought, meh, been there, done that.
I love the S2000...you'd probably boost it, but you'd LOVE driving it to the dragon.
My new friend and I plan to do a long weekend trip up to TENN/NC at some point to visit her dad and we'll hit the dragon together.
Should be awesome.
