Lol at you guys getting butt hurt over sarcasm.

Did a track day yesterday in my crappy honda, and I don't mean lame ass drag strip.

I smoked a 911 turbo, cayman s, 2 lotus, corvette, 400 whp civic and more.

They all came up to talk to me wondering how a fwd honda can be so fast.

In a 20 minute session I lapped a focus st 3 times with a 12 year old honda. Ford got pwned.

Car looks awesome Adam!

I'll start bugging Jeremy to get a meet in before the year is out; I'd love to see that ST in person.

Congrats! What year is it? I was looking for an SVT Focus years ago as a second car, but couldn't find one for the right price.

Decided to take advantage of some Black Friday deals. The stock shifter felt so sloppy and was a little sketchy going into gear at times. I ordered a short shifter, solid shifter base bushings, solid transmission bracket bushings, weighted shift knob, and a sound symposer delete. I didn't take any pics when installing the bracket bushings and symposer delete under the hood. My gloves were dirty and I just wanted to get finished at that point.

Shift knob is 1.125 lbs. It feels so much better than the OEM knob.

Very nice! Upgraded bushings, a weighted knob and a short throw were some of my favorite mods to do when I had manual transmission cars.

Makes a huge difference! Boomba makes great products, and I'm lucky enough to have them local here.

You didn't want to get a shifter plate? With the short throw shifter itself and the shifter plate, I'm at a 44% reduction.

I'd be in trouble if I had a company like Boomba local to me! I didn't get the shifter plate because I heard mixed things about it. Most guys swap it out for the Breedt arm and prefer that more. I've seen videos online with everything combined and the throw looks so short! I'm not so sure I'd want that much reduction.

When I first shifted after it was all installed, I was pretty shocked at how different it felt. And to be honest I thought to myself if it was too much. But only after a short time of driving with it did I come to realize how much greater it felt and how much quicker it shifted. Overall I'm happy I went that route. And I didn't even do the maximum reduction, I did the second-most. So in all, the throws are ridiculously short and I love it.

First mod of the year! Decided to finish off the shifter and install a shifter arm. I have it set to 25% reduction. Combined with the short shifter set to 30% reduction, the throws are very short and precise.

I also have another new mod being shipped out on Monday

Went to my friends house today to install the Milltek catless TBE. Everything went on without any issues and the quality is top notch. Luckily, my friend is even more OCD than me, so he had a process torquing the bolts down and getting everything lined up perfect. I'm still getting use to the sound. It's not an STi or Golf R when it comes to the exhaust note, but overall I am happy. It sounded much better when I let him do some drive-bys so I could hear it from outside the car. I also loaded my new tune and I'll be putting some miles on it before datalogging and getting the tune revised.

Very nice! I was originally going to go with the Milltek exhaust but ultimately decided on a Cobb package.

Hey I notice you are in Sarasota county... my parents have a place on Longboat Key. Love the area!

I was looking at Cobb and MBRP originally. Both have a nice, deep sound to them... The next time you come down to their house, let me know.

Ask and you shall receive. I went out to datalog and brought my GoPro with suction mount. I still have to edit the videos together into one. Here's a short rev video I took with my phone.

Will do!

It sounds great! I love how an aftermarket downpipe really brings out the turbo whistle - it really puts a smile on my face.

I put together another video. I bought the suction cup mount before heading out, so this is my first time using the GoPro on the car. It was pretty fun and I'll probably start making more videos.

The S2k hasn't changed at all

I have stuff planned out but it seems like every month something comes up and prevents me from pulling the trigger It'll be small, cosmetic things first and hopefully one day I'll be like J and Chip

Car is looking great man!

Weren't you planning to change up the caliper color?...can't recall. In any case, I'm actually really digging the green with the white.

Thanks! The green has grown on me. I was originally going to switch the emblems and calipers to the Focus RS blue. At this point I'm happy with the color and plan to keep it.
