Nice, man...
yeah, damned balance is only as good as the calibration and care for the machine they're using.

Also,
S2000 is gone. 401k loan payoff for down payment on our new house was more important right now. Sold to a close friend on the forums. He made a solid offer that made me consider parting with it...He flew down and drove back to Jersey in it on Saturday.

I'll miss it dearly.
That was fast. You only just got it!

Always a good move to consider your finances, though.

You'll be back once you're done being "house poor".

y'all are too much.
It's funny, mostly the people over 40 are like, GREAT MOVE...and under are like, you dumb ahole that car was so cool!

Well, It's not like I'm happy about it being gone...paying off a debt doesn't put a smile on my face like going sideways in the S did, that's for sure. It sucks, but in the grand scheme of things, I know it had to be done. I already cleared with wife that I'll be next up to get another car if I sell the TL as down payment, or keep TL and get a project car or something. The neighborhood I moved into, everyone just has lifted golf carts they drive around and that's what they mod. Who knows...

You made the right move man. After all the well being of your wife and future family is more important. And of course the obligatory, you'll be back

Good move, I'm not sure I'd be able to do it. You've already tasted the koolaid though, so..yea, I give it a year before you're on the lookout again.

LOL...
I love you guys...thanks.

I'm already itching, I love the TL like no other car I've owned, but in a short 11 months...the S2000 earned a place in my heart. THAT is for sure.

LOL...it does, oddly.
I will admit that Tommy S's reaction to selling his S and getting the track spec Miata has me wondering just how much better it really is.

Probably better for what he is doing with it, but not better for everyone. Just different cars. If I lived closer I'd let you borrow mine to get your fill...oh wait, I've seen your videos. Nevermind.

Get another S, be happy.

Okay, had some oh sh*t moments that I recovered from

Thanks, Jordan. Nice offer...I probably will. I will also be honest though, my childhood dream has been to have a 5.0 and with the current platform...that might be an option for me.

I was looking pretty heavy at them a while ago debating on a new car. Decided to go another route, but good lord are those things awesome...and that's before you get to the aftermarket world.

mine is better.

335i 8speed auto & Ap2.
You can get the acceleration, torque, refined I6 and best auto tranny on the market
You also get fun, stiff, best manual tranny on the market, no torque, high rev, screaming machine

When I say my realistic dream garage, it's what I can afford now .. there's no way I could drop $25,000 - $35,000 on a used 335i / 335is or any with the 8AT - I'll take the high mileage ~ $12,000 3G MT for a daily driver. For now

It'll always have a spot in my heart, just like my old Accord 6MT.

S2000 (have one)
MDX (wife has one)
TLX Type-S (waiting for it, have a '13 Accord)

That is why you lease the 335i as your DD and park your S2k at home for weekends and tracks.

actually i prefer to have a muscle car and an AP2.

i guess if i could have 2 cars, wait actually i do.

I mean, if i can change the 2 cars i have, I will want them to be completely different in terms of performance.

Funny you mention that oowindoo...I sometimes did feel like my driving experience was similar in the sense that I was in a 6MT lowered honda and had to be careful where I parked them.

Jeep + sports car = Dream garage. Trying to make my Commander more offroad worthy at the moment.

I do love going round tracks but I love getting lost in the mountains more.
