Dude, roller is your new avatar, I hope!
I know you were going for an effect of a snake coming out of the darkness, but it looks like you shot it with your motorola razr!
Put it in the garage...snap shot of front...use lightroom to darken shadows/black until you can barely see the nose!

LOL...
I don't really know much either, man...I shoot, pick what I like, run it through lightroom (photoshop for dummies) and post em up...
I don't even like the science behind it all...like what all the numbers mean, I just know what to set it at if I want something to look a certain way.

Damn, man...but even with the sweet stang?
I get it though...I'm trying to ever avoid that feeling again...I have far too many pics of my 2 cars now to sell...instant depression.
As someone that made the mistake of selling off my first one, I know the pain, man...I'd see one on the highway, or around town and my heart would sink...knot in stomach...like FKKKKKK why did i sell!

I always do shutter priority...so I'd do 200 ISO and set the F to like 28...maybe more...it's really a give and take because dependent on speed, the wheels might look like they are standing still...there are some shots that the snap was too fast where you can make out the spokes.

once you get so high in ISO though, you'll make grainy pictures...I only go higher if I HAVE to due to the sun setting or something...
your camera is fully capable.
D7000 is very good at masking grain though...it can shoot clean until like 3200 ISO I think...but I can tell it's not nice anymore after 1000.

I'm thinking about picking up a used GoPro for ~$100 to record trips to Mexico, the occasional car meet/cruise and just daily adventures. You guys think it's worth it? I think my videos will come out better with one.
