That rear fitment is fantastic
How the hell do you still have the dealer plate frame on?!

I'm trying to choose a clever license plate frame, any links or ideas? My black and yellow CA plate ("LOLNEXT") should be here by the end of March at the latest.

Dang that was a huge ass wing that C6. Hopefully it's got the muscle to backup those looks. It'll be interesting to see what that 5.0 had under the hood though...never know with car enthusiasts what may lurk under that hood.
If you're in cali probably hard to find unique plates that's not already taken. Since I just came from Denver and seeing your stang is blue...how about BLUCIFER?
(I assume any and all variations of stang/5.0/five/oh/etc. probably taken arleady...(

That's a good one but Cali plates are limited to 7 characters only and I already ordered mine! Here -
I'm fighting the itch to purchase a supercharger kit on sale from one of the Mustang6Gen vendors so I'm looking into cat-backs instead.. Haha
I'm also thinking about making an IG, anybody got any clever username ideas? I was thinking "SD_GT".

Thanks, man! And unfortunately, no. They sounded nothing like I had hoped they would.
All the time! I made sure there was some room for me to jolt out of the way if needed but everyone kept it under control.
You know, I planned on leaving in a classy fashion as well but after some yells from on-lookers I had to do a little burn-out before going on my way.
That yellow C6Z would tear that 5.0 a new one! They were all buddies though. I'm sure the Z06 could've left the 5.0 in the dust in the blink of an eye if it really wanted to.. Or if their buddy in the Challenger ahead of them would just get out of the way.

I must have missed that 315's post....what width rear rim do you have? I can see the tire bulge a bit like the rim is a tad too narrow for it, but it looks good. How's it driving and how's the traction?
That rear spoiler on the C6 is hideous IMO, but any spoiler that style specifically made for the C6 is 100% functional. They are also crazy expensive like most stuff made for the Corvette, like 2K+

Yep! Finally moved up to 315's but with an el-cheapo, no-name tire so traction is still a petty joke. The rear wheels are 20x10.5 and I was told by the David at Steeda AutoSports that the recommended tire sizes were 275/35/20 front and 315/35/20 in the rear. Right now, the stance is not as symmetrical as I'd like it to be with these tiny 255's in the front.
I'll move up to 275's when they wear out and probably drop my rears down to a 305. Butttt, I'm looking into selling these wheels and switching up the look anyways. I want something light weight as I'm sure that these 20's are heavier than my stock 18's! I was actually thinking of RPF-1's! Haha
That rear spoiler is fine by me because LS7's are simply sex. He could draw a penis on the sides of the car and I'd still drive it with a huge smile on my face. :ghey:
Thanks, Jeremy! I might take some exhaust clips tonight if I get my lazy ass up and in motion!
I'm sitting here complaining about being bored but still being too lazy to do anything about it. I think I've found the key to living a simple and rewarding life ---
Balance.

I'm thinking some 18", maybe even 19" light-weight squared Enkei's might be the route I go next for wheels.. Just can't figure out what design would look good with the the lines of this car.

Next time! I'm pretty bored at home right now so I'm probably going to head Downtown to take some photos and possibly some videos as well.

I was looking into NT05R's and possibly some Michelin PSS. Gotta figure out the camber situation first and whether or not I'll be keeping the current set-up!
Saw a beautiful red C6 today. We exchanged a few words at a stop light, nice guy with an awesome car.

Doesn't compare to your AP2 though.
Thanks! Your Stang is pretty awesome looking too.
The only thing stopping me from getting years of enjoyment out of it would be myself though. I get tired of my toys real fast! Boost might cure that.
We can work out a deal if you love it that much. I'll take that FZ09 off your hands + cash for the 5.0.
I've got a pretty open day ahead of me so I intend to test drive a C6 as well as a couple other cars. Let's see if the Vette pushes me into selling the GT.
Thanks man! If I had to do it again, I would probably go Comp-O next time since I've tried out Deep Impact Blue now. They're InCurve IC-S5's.

An LS3 with a lower monthly payment doesn't sound too bad but I fall in love with my car every time I see it. Indecisiveness!
So.. Trade plus cash?
It's an awesome little ride. Could definitely use some boost though.

that's the problem with power...it's never enough. I bet I'd drive your car and think it's the fastest thing I've ever driven...for you, you're probably redlining, powershifting and plucking your eyebrows while doing you're make up bored AF...

My car's slow as heck and the power delivery seems so linear that it never really "hits" you.

CTS-V you say? Well you know I'm always on the market...
Jk that mofo is still expensive AF.
Shake on it, and by that I mean you grab mine and I grab yours. :ghey:
Don't do it. No amount of mods will ever replace riding. Ask me how I know.

Yeah I know what you mean, it's just a different type of speed. I bet the only reason I'm even considering this is because it's winter and I haven't ridden in 4 months.

Thanks Jin, hopefully I got your name right. I feel we've talked enough to be on a first name basis now.
Hold out till riding season starts and then take it out a couple times and get back to me.

Today was "interesting" to say the least. I spent ~5 hours tailing an E39 M5, NA1 NSX and 600whp GT-R through some very windy roads. Also saw the infamous "Blue Batmobile" in person.
Edit: Finally took the plunge and made an Instagram as well. Don't know how long it'll last since I'm not really one for social media. @SD_Confidential

My acorns are average size at best, my sense of understanding what is right and wrong however is even worse.
Just got props from a QuattroPorte owner after pulling him twice. Once from a dig and once from a roll. Go lil Mustang, gooooo.
