Get a 1992-1993 GS-R while you still can! They produced so very little of them and it's becoming near impossible to find one that isn't beat up, horrendously modified, or rusted to death.

A friend of mine had a 1992 Aztec Green GS-R and that car was a blast to drive, until it was hit by a drunk driver and ultimately destroyed. It was a sad day.

That car also has the rarest Honda engine ever- no other car made use of the B17 and I'm pretty sure Honda produced under 5000 (estimates are at 3500, but who knows) GS-Rs in those two years. Other neat features- a cable actuated clutch, as opposed to hydraulic and adjustable side bolsters on the drivers seat. Again, no other Honda had that (at least to my knowledge). I believe the American versions had automatic seat belts () but Canada did not.

Dang, really? I never knew the Prelude had that. I'm not surprised though- the Prelude seemed to get all the cool Honda technology before other cars

Amazing condition inside and out. And a 5MT no less, that's quite a find. Also enjoyed your writeup, liked the ILX outside temp of 109

You definitely have a great combo! Awesome cars.

Yeah, not too bad. Per Carfax the Vigor had only been driven about 1k miles per year over the last 4-5 years.

I paid over Retail book for it. But book is tough to consider on a car this old. It really came down to condition. I was looking at similar Vigors for $1,000 that needed paint, interiors, clutches, had twice the miles with salvage titles. I am much better off with this one that's already in nice shape.

Haha, yeah I won't get into specifics on the price I ended up at. The dealership wanted $3,900 for it on the AutoTrader listing.

It's a pretty classic design. I don't think it's aged as well as the Legend (it's a lot more boxy) but still pretty attractive after a couple of decades.

That's the plan. Just looking for an Integra now.

Oh, I know. They're nearly impossible to find, but I have a lead on a couple of them. I'm already pretty regularly checking the classifieds on the G2 Integra forums and places like that.

Yep, I had a couple 3G Preludes and remember that feature too.

Haha, thanks. 109 is just another regular summer day around here!

The coupe just turned 534,000 a few days ago. It hasn't been my daily driver since June 2012 when I got the ILX, so the miles are going up kind of slowly lately. I'll be driving it from Phoenix to Houston and back for the 11th annual National Acura Legend Meet (NALM) in two months though.

Haha, hardly, but thanks Earl! I hope you and your rides are doing well too!

A few updates on the blog.

I got 3 of the cars in the driveway for a photo on Saturday night.
