Air Ride Susupenion Height Sensor Placement

I wanted to get an idea on where ya'll mount your height sensors for those who are on air ride suspension. I'll start.

Car: 2011 Acura TSX
Height Sensor System: Airlift 3H
Front: My installer got creative on this one and mounted to the fork.

Rear: Mounted to the lower control arm.

I don't have a ride height system installed, but that isn't unlike how bmw does it. Though they generally get much closer, like 3 or 4 inches away from the LCA.

I'm kinda skeeved out by the drilling into the UCA though. I'm sure it's built to be stronger than it needs to be, but in the end it does hold the wheel on to the car and it kinda looks like they took two goes at it. Also does that mean you are no long running the fender liners?

Yes and no to your comment on the the height sensor being 3 to 4 inches away from the lower control arm or arm mounting surface. Just as long you have travel distance required by the height sensor manufacturer.

I am waiting for after market upper and lower control arms and will be be drilling in those thus I made this thread to give me an idea on where I could mount the height sensors too. Obviously there's a penetration tolerance on the upper and lower controls arms and having 3/8" hole (two in my case) for the screws to mount the height sensors too will not be an issue versus if you drill a hole that is 2.5 inches then maybe you could have a problem there. The height sensor placement is a trial and error process so that's why theres a total of two holes. Fender liner is staying on, I have about a finger gap on my ride height so that does not require me to remove my fender liner.
