My pig of a 4G TL was in the shop for more issues than any other car, which is why I dumped it. I'm not a fan of the newer Camaro myself, but I doubt it'll be any less reliable than Acura is these days.
Get rid of your 4G and buy what makes you happy. If that's the Camaro SS, get it and don't look back. That V8 will make you forget about the Acura within a few minutes.

Ohhhhh that's awesome.

Srs question: Is that still an issue? I've seen lots of new Camaros and really can't tell if they've changed much as far as visibility. Certainly hope not since that's always the first thing people say about them...

My last Acura was sold over 10 years ago and haven't had one since. Overall it was good (and I loved it), but sold it b/c I didn't want to own it out of warranty. So that should say something...

That said, we've gone from a strictly import family to now having over half of our vehicles (3 of 5) being American. And they've all been awesome and bullet-proof to date. One of them has an LSA V8 and I can tell you it's glorious

I'm sure most of the Anti brand X crowd had bad experiences or know someone who did, but the fact is the automotive competition is great for consumers. I wish Chevy would do something with the SS - when that car was originally announced I was so excited to get a chance at a current G8, but alas, its looks trump any enjoyment from performance

I'll get some more pics ASAP - I went with the R/T with road and track package, beats audio, sunroof, NAV, driver confidence group, 20" wheels. Absolutely love it! The fit/finish is not up to Acura standards, but Dodge has come a loooooong way in a short time.
The engine note is aural excellence, the UConnect system is easily the best tech head unit I've used in a car. Beats audio sounds fantastic, though I wish there were a few more options to tweak. Even with 20" wheels and low profile tires the ride is extremely smooth, just eats up the bumps. My better half already loves it based on ride quality alone. She did not care for the TL.

Glad you're liking it so far! Great option choices. And that exhaust note gets even better with an aftermarket exhaust.

Funny, i was just building a Charger.
The R/T with SCAT pak with 485hp at 40k seems like a steal in terms of performance.

Thanks guys - will try to get more pics soon, it just gets dark soo damn early now. Got tomorrow off so if the weather cooperates I'll get some more shots. It really is a beautiful car and gets a lot more attention than the TL ever did. I'd occasionally get a "nice car" from a stranger at the gas pump with the TL, but in 3 days of owning the charger I have random people approaching me everywhere I go lol. Hopefully that will equate to more respectful folks in parking lots avoiding dinging my doors haha

I always enjoyed the aesthetics of my TL and thought of it as a sleeper. The performance was there for everyone to appreciate, just not the appearance. Count me among the disappointed in the TLX. I wanted the next gen to lose some weight and offer FI, instead we got competition for the Lexus ES and Buick. I'm really enjoying the Charger, but quite curious how long the first set of tires will last
