Putting my pretty much brand new XLR8 Quad Catback The Resonated Version, i've had this on my car for less then 4 days.

I love this exhaust it sounds really good paired with my RV6 V3 J-Pipe and RV6 HFPC, its loud but i love it. WOT is sweet!

My neighbors on the other hand hate it and have already called the cops on me when i can home at 1am and made alittle noise, i was warned already to take it off.

I really dont want to do this, i just paid 1000 dollar for this exhaust system from XLR8 waited 3 weeks to get it shipped and no im being threatened with tickets!

i know it sucks, my neighbors have never liked me since my bike is loud in the summer, they called and the cop said if he gets another complaint he will give me ticket.

i always come home late, and i dont wanna take chances. no money for tickets.

mine is pretty loud, but i think my high flow pre cats make it loud. what setup you running?

maybe its me since im used to quiet. but i live in townhouse and theres a huge echo so when i come home its loud as shit.

either way if i could keep this i would love to, but i dont want any problems with cops.

just wanted to put in my 2 cents about noise, i have the same exhaust (res) and it is fairly loud, my neighbors can hear me when i start my car up at 5 am for work and know when i'm coming home. however the exhaust is awesome and worth every penny!! glws!

what do you guys consider loud to be? i was planning on just ordering this exhaust and keeping the rest stock(jpipe,cat).
if i drive home at 2-4am when im done work at 20mph in a high gear will i wake the neighbors?

What will the cop actually ticket you for? disturbing the peace? if the car passes inspection and you are not blasting a stereo then why would an exhaust constitute a ticket? read up on IL laws and statutes.. still sell if that is what you want to do but annoying neighbors with nothing better to do piss me off... also you can possibly take out a restraining order on your neighbors as a preventive action

if you are in high gear then it will be loud. but not as bad as mine since you dont have a jpipe or pre cats

my neighbor always complain, my bike has a nice pipe on it and when i come home late at night during the summer they give me shit the next day, its always something with them.

no more to the story, i just tired of hearing shit from them.
so i'd rather just sell it and do something else to my stock exhaust.

i dont think im breaking any laws, but im sure if they get enough complaints they will ticket me for something.

I want the ATLP quad non-resonated. I had that on another TL 3 years ago and it wasnt that loud? My neighbors never said a word

I live close to Gurnee. Maybe I will consider it if you dont sell it.
But I cant pay what you want right now. Plus I LOVE the ATLP quads.

But if you lower the price more, I will consider it.

Thanks fellas...yeah, true. Ironically though...I felt like the jpipe is what added rasp to my system! The HFPC's only made it slightly worse.

I agree, I'd actually contact the police ahead of time and let them know that they have a problem with you and are looking to cause trouble. That you're respectable and don't want any trouble and whether or not it's actually breaking any laws...
