Clutch Masters FX400 Clutch, Flywheel & Pressure Plate
This kit was used for about 7K miles
Selling because I know longer have a 3G TL and it’s broken-see below.

This will fit:
04-06 TL Sport Manual transmission
03 CL Type S Manual Transmission
03-07 Accord V6 ManualTransmission

Issues with the kit:
One of the springs came out of the cage on the clutch
A new clutch disc is needed

Pressure Plate will need to be resurfaced or replaced

Flywheel Insert will need to be resurfaced or replaced
-around $100 for this from Clutch Masters

Pilot bearing needs to be replaced
PILOT BEARING | Genuine Acura | 91006-PGE-008

Ring gear has some chips in it, shouldn't affect anything but can be replaced if wanted

Whats included:
Lightweight Aluminum Flywheel with spacer
FX400 Pressure Plate & 4 Puck Clutch Disc

I am basically selling the flywheel and giving the buyer the pressure plate and clutch disc for free. I called a local clutch repair shop (Clutch Exchange in Denver, CO) who charges $50/part to resurface. I can take them the parts before shipping if wanted. However, after speaking with them I would not recommend resurfacing the flywheel insert, I think it would be better to just replace it. I see no problem in trying to reuse the pressure plate for $50.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but if this clutch is coming off of a 3G TL this will NOT fit a 2G CL

Yes it will fit a 2G CL. Two eBay sellers have it listed that way:

Why would you post something like this?

If you actually read the thread you would realize:
One of the springs came out of the cage on the clutch

When the spring came out, the clutch froze and that's what caused the damage to the pressure plate and flywheel surfaces. The clutch disc has plenty of life left and was never smoked. I spoke with Clutch Masters about this but since it was out of the 90 day warranty I would have to pay for replacement parts (at a discounted cost). I don't have a 3G TL anymore, so I would rather sell it as is...

so can the center of the flywheel be machined out? It looks like it would jack up any new clutch that you would put on. Correct me if I am wrong.

Sorta interested, but not really sure.

I would think it can be machined out, although I don't know if it is needed. Nothing comes in contact that surface, spring was in there and that's what created the damage.
