1997 Acura El - Block Heater Install

I need to install a block heater on a 1997 EL (I'm quite certain it doesn't have one). I have located the appropriate part number (zerostart 310-0006). The part catalog notes that it is threaded and would be installed in the LR (I believe Left/Rear position - so I believe driver side near back of engine). Am I correct to assume that as it is a threaded part that it isn't really a 'frost plug' I am needing to bang out but something that is also threaded? Has anyone done this job on a same/similar Acura and, if so, how difficult was it? Is it something that a mechanically inclined person can likely do themselves? Do you need to remove anything to get to the work area and/or is it particularly difficult to access? Thank you for any advice.
