This is a Northern Shrike, photographed this morning. The guy shouldn't be this far south, he's about 400-800 miles further south than he should be. About 20 minutes from my house.

I got there at 12:30 last Thursday and the amount of activity was nuts. I went skydiving with some friends from work (just a tandem "bucket list" jump) and when I realized the airport was only 15 minutes from the dam, decided to stop by for a quick visit before heading home.. There were eagles -- and photographers -- everywhere with lots of fishing events and a few chases. But this was the only tug-of-war I saw during the 90 minutes I was there.

went to Squamish today, I was really hoping to capture more interesting photos, but the spot that's supposed to be a popular place for eagles sightings didn't really have much

The composition of this photo really sucks, but this is the most amazing moth I have ever seen. There is no way in hell you would ever find him sitting on a tree unless you saw him land.

Thank you very much! I pretty much just use Camera Raw. Sometimes I will use Topaz Clarity. The above image was pretty much out of camera, tweaking in ACR and cropped for a better comp.
