40D and LowePro Slingshot 100 AW

Has anyone here been happy with a 40D inside a LowePro Slingshot 100? I've read some complaints that it's a bit of a tight fit. I'm trying to decide if I need to spring for the larger 200.

i might consider getting that instead of the 24-70...
right now it's more of a wishful thinking for either lens...
i've spent alot of money when the "camera bug" hit me...i have to chill for a while...

So far, it is a nice upgrade from my D80, the metering is superb, the focusing is fast and surprisingly not confusing at all. Somehow, it fixes purple fringing issues on some of my lenses.

Geez! Why does the MB-300 cost so much! Almost double the MB-80! Maybe next year. Need to make money before anymore upgrades. Enjoy your new D300. Post some hi iso photos. That would be one major reason why I would upgrade. It would help a lot in events with poor lighting.

SLR & Lenses:
Canon 40D
Canon EF-S 28-135mm IS kit lens
Canon EF-S 10-22mm
Canon EF 50mm f1.4

Point & Shoots:
Sony FSC-F828
Canon SD1000

Bag:
Crumpler 6 Million Dollar Home

Couple filters, crappy tripod.

Oh and my favorite accessory:
SanDisk Extreme IV Firewire Reader. Nothing like clearing an 8GB CF card in just a minute or two.

The build quality and the ability to crank up the fps are the reason why the battery grip cost more than MB-D80 or any Nikon battery grips except F6's battery grip.
The grip is as rugged as the body. Yup, I will..

Soopa, Does the Crumpler bag have any way to attach a tripod to the bottom? I couldn't tell from the web site...

I wonder how much the Canon 70-200 f/2.4L must have cost you, considering canon hasn't even announced it yet.

^^Which makes it a pretty good portrait lens. The 50 f/1.4 is also the sharpest lens I've ever used personally.

hell, your list is probably still better than my actual "equipment". Even with my "some AA batteries" thrown in there.
