Infusion @ Vision 4/22/06 - I like how the center of the pic is in focus, while the sides are kinda blurred... nice contrast, also really love the color. SD550.

A quick shot taken with my Point & Shoot at lunch one day. Photo is completely unedited. A self-portrait of sorts
Warm Glow:
I actually find it REALLY frustrating using a P&S camera and not having much control over the pic. Hrmph.

Thanks, James! Photographs are definitely made by the photographer, and not so much the camera.
Personally, I would never EVER give up my SLR to be stuck with a P&S. I wouldn't be able to capture 98% of the shots I want, HOW I WANT, with the capabilities of a P&S. I really do find it frustrating and constraining. But I like having it around to take quick shots and fool around....just nothing more, really.

This one is my favorite today, since I captured my son's stance while waiting, plus a common facial expression. He had just bumped his head while trying to insert his face into the circle:
This one is pretty much subject matter "favorite" only:
I wanted so badly to take some close up shots, but since this was at the zoo, I didn't want to be awkwardly hovering over some rich dude's very droolworthy car.

I think I'm gonna follow the rules today and only post one like the original plan was. But I'll probably put another one up soon, as I recently got my dSLR!

yea I really have to play with the modes to get those shots to come out. I don't even remember what mode I used for the above, I will just have to play with em again the next time lol. That is as-shot on the SD550, btw.
