Nice variation on the staircase motif, srika. What did you do for PP?

I totally had no idea there was any similarity to Hitchcock - I have a very vague and stereotypical understanding of his work, don't really follow it... I'm guessing there's some famous scene like this?

oic. I did some checking and found this - I guess that would explain wndrlst's comment as well. Not being exposed to any of that, I found nothing creepy about that shot. hehe.

^ google images of escher's work: he has a thing for stairs - some of which lead to a higher place. he also has a unique way of sketching images that seem to go on forever, such as your stairwell pic. oh, i appreciate the grainyness (is that even a word?) of your shot

I'm posting this in here cuz its pretty weird. My friend with the d300 (I know I mention him a lot - I've just been helping him so he sends me lots of his pics) went to the National Air & Space Museum in DC this past week and he sends me this shot:

even when the thumbnail was loading in MSN I was like because I know I took a similar shot, while I was there in October 2007. Anyways, so I sent him mine:

I knew it was similar but I didn't think it was THIS similar - it's really pretty eerie. Look at how the shots are aligned, esp at the top left of the propeller.. and the plane's rear wheel.. mine is just a wider angle. Anyways I told him clipping plane's wings =

oh yeah, I had never shown him my shot before.

ps. in case you couldn't tell, my shot is an hdr

I thought Yummy would like this one:

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/acurazinedan/2779569513/" title="The King Bee - 1920x1080 Wallpaper by AcuraZine Dan, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3130/2779569513_2abaf9f2d5_b.jpg" width="1024" height="576" alt="The King Bee - 1920x1080 Wallpaper" /></a>

It looks like a Mech-Bee driven by a crazy two-headed wasp.

I shot this at work but I didn't notice the outline of the robot figure until I got it home and flipped a layer by accident. Also, if you look closely at the bottom of the hole, it looks like there's a person's face in there. That one creeped me out.

Click the image for a 1920x1080 version.
