btw this is not a slam on the D800 or D810 at all - it's just a comparison

I'm surprise DxO hasn't tested it out yet... they usually get it out pretty early on (with Nikon)... Nikon must have forgot to send them one

If I had to buy new dslr, the d750 would be it.

The df is a niche camera. It's done well.

if I was to jump ship or go dual system, I'd be very interested in the D750 as well... I don't need 36MP, and the price is pretty damn good

D750 tested

I was expecting a higher score, or at least above D610

Doesn't surprise me. But the D750 is the better low light camera.

My d800 was acting up a little the other day while using it to shoot a short.

Might have to get it serviced. Boooo.

I have a T3i, don't have the d750 yet. Looking to pick one up this month. Would love to stick with Canon, but the Nikon simply has everything I want..and more.

I'll buy the 24-70 2.8 with the body. I think I can get away with 90% of what I do with that one lens. In short order, the 14-24 and 70-200 will follow. I'll have to have a fast prime as well at some point...so 35 or 85 1.4s are on the radar.

Nice write-up of the D750 from one of my favorite (wedding) photographers. He's actually one of the "Nikon Ambassadors", while you might think he's biased, he's actually a very blatantly honest person. I've watched a bunch of his workshop videos and yeah... he tells it like it is lol

Are any of you Nikon Guys using 3rd party batteries with your cameras? B&H has a "bundle" for the D750 that includes a Watson battery. I was wondering what the consensus is.

I've been using Watson batteries with my Fuji gear. They don't last as long as OEM. Maybe 75% as OEM. They were half the price. The thing I really love of Watson, is their dual battery charger, was $75. But with charging two battery in half the speed, so worth it!!

I have a lot of Fuji gear, really digging it.

They have a new 40-150mm 2.8 that has been released. I'd like to pick up, just need to sell something first. But not sure what, slowing getting rid of some of my Nikon gear. Won't completly leave Nikon because of long lens, but hardly shoot with my Nikon. Have only used it three times since June.
