Vorsteiner: 1M V-FF 103 (based on BMW 1-Series) News

From here: BMW 1M With Vorsteiner V-FF 103 Flow Forged Wheels

Vorsteiner recently released their updated Vorsteiner Flow Forged wheel line. These lightweight aftermarket additions are made for some of the world’s most premiere sports and luxury cars and they are a great addition for all owners looking to emphasize the looks of their vehicles. The owner of this BMW 1M comes from Germany and he decided to visit ATT-TEC in order to upgrade his wheel setup.

The wheels chosen are the Vorsteiner V-FF 103 Flow Forged wheels. These have a contemporary Y-Spoke design that works well with a sports cars like the 1M. The performance aspect of the BMW 1M is also in no way impeded, thanks to the Flow Forged wheel design and engineering, ensuring a lowered unsprung weight.

Wheels shown here are sized 19×9.5 and 19×10.5 front and rear, respectively. The wheels come with a Carbon Graphite finish, working well with the black exterior of this vehicle.

As far as performance goes, the BMW 1M Coupe uses a re-tuned version of the twin-turbocharged N54 engine which is used in various other models such as the 2011 BMW 335is. The 3.0 liter BMW TwinPower Turbo produces 340 PS (250 kW) at 5900 rpm and 332 lb-ft (450 Nm) torque from 1,500 to 4,500 rpm. An overboost feature brings the total torque to 369 lb-ft (500 Nm).

The only available drivetrain is a six-speed manual gearbox with a limited slip differential. This gives the compact 1M an impressive performance allowing it to sprint from 0-62 mph (0-100km/h) in just 4.3 seconds. The car comes with an electronically limited speed of 155 mph (250km/h).

Love the car, wheels, and location.

I'm not a photographer, but the car looks a little weird in these pics. Wish it popped more!

But man, those wheels are wicked hot.

Beefy. I've never thought the 1-Series was a pretty car thanks in part to Bangle, but those wheels are very nice.
