How to remove the front seat back cover?? Tryin to install headrest LCDs

I am installing some headrest LCDs and wanted to run the wire down through the seat. There may be a way to snake it through. I am banking that removing the backs of the front seats will totally be easier. I saw a pic once of someone who had the seat apart so I know that it's possible.

I tried pulling at the seat but I didn't want to break any tabs or clips because I didn't know what I was doing......All you headrest LCD guys.....anybody?

there should be clips at the bottom that should pop off. PM inaccurate as he took his off for some weight reduction.

remove back panel. 2 clips on the bottom. They will break, so you need 2 new clips for that. Just pull out ward then it willl come off. Once it off, you can fish thru your wire thru. But You have to careful fish thru it cause there is no hole for it. good luck..

Aww man, I have to break them?? I pulled and prodded and it felt like breaking them was the only way. Any special part number so I know what I need to replace? Or are they generic clips?

I do, but not with me right now. Yah, It's very hard to save those clip. You can try , don't use too much force you can break the panel too. You can call Acura and describe, they know those clips.

Good Info. I was wondering about why my seat panel was hanging off the back and I can't push it back in.

Mine are hanging off too. Does this mean no matter how hard I push it in, it won't pop back into place? Is this a PITA to correct?

Well I got a PM from inaccurate and he said to just pull out and get those tabs out. I think it can be done carefully without breaking anything....Now I am kinda worried about doing this right. I don't want to break the wrong thing and have a seat that's hanging off.

Take a look at the back panel. You need to push the panel up more and try to push in from TOP to BOTTOM. ONce the top are in, you can carefully snap the bottom in together. NOw, if you get the wrong clip, it never can go in. It has to be at Honda dealership. If you got it univeral type, it wont' work.
