you need to get an LOC and tap it into the sub if you want to still have oem control of the sub.

OP its little more dificult than just hooking up lock. Even though our TL oem radio have nice flat signal, you should be ok, just remember to set your gains properly, and not clip your amp, or you will burn your sub....
I know your next question will be what gains, or whats clipping

I have asked this question and haven't gotten any answers, I want to install a LOC also, but what I wanted to know is when disconnecting the stock sub wires and using the LOC and tapping into those wires, isn't the stock amp still feeding power to those wires, and if so is there any danger from it? should I disconnect the wires at the stock amp and wire the loc to those wires? i'm just not understanding and some help would be great. I know if I use the stock sub wires I will have control of my sub so I wouldn't need a gain knob as some users have told me...Anyway any help and pictures would be great as I have searched all weekend on this and haven't found anything and pictures from the past posted on this subject doesn't work, thanks.
