Hi everybody,

I have 08 Acura TL basic (non-navi), my Display Panel for the AC/Radio broke. I found a replacement from the scrap yard but it was for the Acura TL 06 which doesn't display the compass info (I don't need the compass anyways)

Now, I'm trying to hook it up but my car has the light blue harness (Display Panel Control Unit Connector A 22pin) and the replacement part uses the green harness (Display Panel Control Unit Connector A 14pin) I guess those missing wires are for the compass, so I'm thinking I can just re-wire the 22 pin harness to the 14 pin (by using only the needed wires from the 22pin)

I'm not sure if that's possible ?? you can say I'm downgrading that unit from 08 to 06.


I need the wiring diagram for the blue harness 22pin (Display Panel Control Unit Connector A)

I have searched and found the diagram for the 06 (the one in the pic below) but I need the 08 one. Please let me know if you can provide me with something similar to this diagram for the 08.
