We own a 2015 RDX. Reside in a small town in south Alabama. Every time we enter our subdivision, the nav system sounds off this verbal announcement "entering unverified area". Even when the nav system is not being used. Have tried with the Acura tech reps without results to turn off the feature. Acura really dropped the ball in the nav system on an otherwise fine vehicle. My thoughts are that the roads and streets in our area are not all digitized into the nav system software or satellite system. Anyone else reside in a small town and experience this situation?

Interesting - never heard that in any situation on either the wife's '12 TL or my '15 RDX. We've gone into non-digitized areas (where it drops the white dot breadcrumbs since it thinks thee aren't any roads). And on the wife's TL, when we updated the nav database that then had some roads now digitized, the breadcrumbs remained. I'm wondering if there's some deep-down setup that controls this....
