Question Copy MP3 to HDD

I know that Acura does not allow "by default" the copy of MP3 files to the HDD from a USB stick but I was told that there is a "patch" or something that can be done to allow it.

Did someone hear about this?

I'm looking for this also. I get you can't copy the MP3 from USB stick. Has anyone tried an MP3 CD?

I've tried an mp3 CD. It'll play the music, but won't record it. I made a CD from my iTunes - it'll display the names of the songs when it plays (just like the mp3) and it will record, but it doesn't list the names of the songs.

I tried an original CD (purchased) and it records fine. In fact, the bit rate on factory CDs is substantially higher than iTunes and I think there is a discernible difference in the music. The factory CD put on the hard drive sounds better than iTunes music on the USB stick. The catch is you pretty much have to record the entire CD, then go back and delete the songs you don't want. Supposedly there is a way to manually select which songs you want, but I haven't figured out how to do that.

Just got mine and I'm still exploring but here's an idea:

Bluetooth object push!

Once you hook up your phone to the RDX via bluetooth, try to send a .MP3 from your phone to the RDX.

i'm going to try this tomorrow and I'll report back.
