For about the last week, when both my wife & I get into the car, the HFL is now pairing up to her phone. Prior to this, it always paired up to my phone first. Each of our phones pair up fine if just one of us is in the car. Also, there is no problem to use the Search For Next Phone option in the Phone Setup menu but I want the car to default to my phone when both phones are in the car.

I suspect this started happening after a recent plane trip where somehow my phone's BT got turned off. Obviously, until I turned my phone's BT back on, the car paired up to my wife's phone only. Whatever the reason this change in BT behavior happened, I just want to know how to fix it so when both phone's are in the car, it pairs up to mine first.

Any ideas? Thanks.

I would delete her phone and reinstall it.

Thanks Bob. This was going to be my fallback choice but I thought I would see if any AZers experts had other advise. Anyway, I did this and it appears to have fixed my issue. When I went to the Delete Phone screen, it did show my wife's phone in position 1. It was a difficult to get her iPhone to pair up again but eventually it worked!

The BT is not the most intuitive. My wife's TSX has me in the first position after a similar situation.
