Buying a 2009 rdx tomorrow, got few questions
Hello all,
I am new here and hopefully tomorrow I'll be buying a 2009 Acura RDX non navi.
I have some question. I noticed it has Bluetooth calling, but does it have Bluetooth audio! I have an iPhone and use Apple Music. How can I play it on the car? Does it have Bluetooth audio?
I really need clean audio so Bluetooth is a must. I don't even use CDs so those 6 disc changer is useless to me.

No it does not have Bluetooth audio - you can only make/receive calls. Mine works flawlessly for that.
Otherwise you need a male-male audio connector and can play your iPhone, iPod or other device via the AUX jack. Sounds great IMO.

For what it's worth, in my opinion the bluetooth audio is not that great on these cars (2010+). I have it, and I always notice a tinny/static noise that's just enough to make me hate it. The 320 kbps stuff on my iPod sounds infinitely better when plugged into the USB port.

Also, does anyone know if it's possible to add a reverse camera and see if in the screen? I'm getting the non tech model and rear camera would be good for the wife

If you're after clean audio, Bluetooth is the worst option (home, car, anywhere).
For wireless streaming around my house, I use AirPlay (much higher quality than Bluetooth)
An rca patch cord gives much higher audio resolution than Bluetooth (I have a nifty retractable one from Monoprice).

Should not have said RCA (was just talking in general audio terms, not RDX specific).

Audio upgrades really suck because you are still stuck using the 3.5mm input for most of the affordable choices. I have streaming bluetooth on my 11 MDX and it sounds flat and on par with FM/XM compared to the same music using the USB direct connect (around CD/DVD-A quality with USB).
You might have to invest some $$ for something that bypasses the 3.5mm input to get a little better and richer sound. I just gave up looking to upgrade since the RDX is just a commuter vehicle mostly and XM is fine with me.
