A cellphone is a sensitive electronic device. Dropping it just one time can create tiny hairline fractures in the main board than can grow and cause problems. IMO, you drop your phone one time and you can expect it's performance to be decreased.

The holster and phone came off of my workout pants....It bounced on the clip...then popped out of the holster....so it wasn't bad.

damn butterfingers, i never drop mine and if i do i try and brace it with my shoe, like putting my foot under it before it hits the ground ya know. Either way i never drop it, i hold the damn thing like a running back in a football game. I have had the same cell phone for almost 3 years and the thing has maybe 1 or 2 little scratches. Did have to replace the battery though, damn thing was dying every couple hours.

Used to drop my old sanyo 4500 everyday, but I haven't dropped the VX6000 yet. My sanyo was introduced to mud, snow, and many other harsh conditions and I never once even had a reception problem out of it.

I use to drop my old Motorola V66 all the time and it still worked like a charm. I've had my Motorola V300 for about a month and only dropped it once.

All the time. I'm another less then 2 hours old & droped it guy. It's not my fault. The shiny plastic just slides all over everything. Why can't the cases be made out of a hard rubber or something. I had a panasonic phone that was like that. That thing just bounced when I dropped it.

How do you NEVER drop a cell phone! I had an LG 4400 and I dropped it 3 times in one day. Then I bought a new one and didn't drop it for 3 months...then I switched to NEXTEL. I got the 730 for X-Mas....and Its been dropped once.....not bad though....I'm not dropping it again.
