Use of profane language seems to be making it into our forum on a regular basis.
My fiance and one of my friends wife used to visit the site on a regular basis. We used to have a little better monitoring of profane language and sexual innuendos. Both of these women were talking the other day and refuse to go out here to read our posts any longer.
There seems to be some disrespectful young punks out here that need to grow up.
IMO some form of this warning should be reitterated at the top of the forum just as a reminded that there are some mature professionals out here. I talk to building contractors on a regular basis as part of my job, and don't even hear thsi kind of trash trash out of their mouths.
We can put up with the ghetto verbaige and poor spelling. but the nastiness we can do without.......

in my experience ceo's and professionals use profanity infinitely more than blue collar workers. I have worked construction building pools and jackhammering down chimneys and they didn't swear half as much as the owner of my company who has a masters degree.

Respect your opinion and I agree with you to a certain extent, but I also realize this is an internet forum - it pretty much goes with the territory, so it doesn't bother me too much.

I agree with BBsAcuraRacing... the use profanity seems to be increasing, becoming excessive. When I joined the group back in January, the use profanity was much less frequent.

I would much rather deal with swearing the ghetto talk and shitty grammar.
Yes there are some younger people on the board that use bad language in horrid taste, that goes along with bad grammar.
But I'll watch my mouth when it needs to be watched and I dont think this place is one those "watch my language" places.

Freedom to express myself is why I am on this site & not others.
If you are here for technical advise, you should have no problem with the language in that forum. But...if you are here for personal entertainment(ie: Ramblings, Relationship Forums) then this language comes with the territory.
And...foul language doesn't make everyone who uses it a "young punk" or disrespectful. That sounds like a class assumption being made solely on your part.
