I use Nair for MEN. I have been using it ever since i was in the military. Works great with no irritation at all. It just sucks sitting there for 10 minutes with it on your balls. LOL. But seriously if you try it you will not use a razor again. For the rest of the hair north of the pipe i use a moustache trimmer with a short guard on it.

Shave the balls with the straight razor, and keep it very short everywhere else. Clippers on the lowest setting. It helps you become very close with your prized possession!!

+1 for razor and soap in the shower. Tug and pull until you get flat areas. It takes five minutes max to do the boys. Trimmer with a guard elsewhere.
Never use to go "clean" there until it was suggested.
