well from what I got from the cops the single bullet hole was not enough damage, im sure that a couple uzi's going all out would do a little more damage than a single bullet hole.

I can't see them letting anyone with an AK go back on the street like that. The best part is the cops are just going to let you have an unregistered automatic weapon.

That should have made things worse (for the shooter) not better.

My dad isn't a citizen and I remember my mom saying that if he commits a crime they are deporting his ass. I don't see how shooting a weapon at an occupied car wouldn't be enough of a crime to get him packing.

Doesn't matter.

Reckless endangerment
Discharging a firearm within city limits (which sounds like you were)
Discharging a firearm from a moving vehicle (if they were driving) Felony I believe
If I'm not mistaken you're (a civilian) not even allowed to transport a loaded firearm.
Depending on where the gun was in the car, carrying a concealed weapon without a permit.

I think those 'cops' weren't cops and you got in the middle of something strange that was going down. I'd find some way to get rid of that gun. If you or your friend even think of keeping it, you're retarded. You don't sound like it was too strange of a situation

There are almost no gun laws in Florida. AK's are as legal as any other firearm. You don't need a background check to purchase one, and you don't need to register it with the gov't.

There is still something very wrong with this story though.

It happened in Bithlo, a more rural part of Cen. Fla, and I don't think the cops knew what to do and fish and game guy was like this is the most exciting think I've done in years on the job...

Me and my boy were thinking about getting one at the next Gun Show that comes to the fairgrounds and I think Gunny has an AK47.

Well from start to finish the situation took about 2 hours and there are two reports that we will be getting, one from the fish and game guy and one from the orange county police dept.

The cops were legit

IF this is true, you better contact the FBI regarding this policeman's actions.

Beltfed knows the gun laws in the individual states better than I do. I'm awaiting his input on this.

:wtf: how could they not get charged and arrested, and if the cop tells you its legal to shoot at cars as long as you dont hit someone, why the hell didn't you load on their car while they were standing there?

Ok the Canucks just recently foiled a terrorist plan in Canada like a week ago. So there are 2 canadian muslims driving through America with an AK47. Hmmm why should I contact the FBI?
