Text covered by ad or flashing back and forth while replying to quote on mobile

Hello,

I don't know if anyone is having the same issue as I am. But about a couple months back the mobile version (and possibly even the full site version on my phone) of the site has become unusable for me when trying to respond on a thread. Like bascially I will be typing my response to a quote and right after about line 3, it starts getting covered with the ad on the bottom of the screen or even the bottom of the page itself will cover the text box (like the lower banner of the page). Or it will flash back and forth between the text box and the bottom of the screen every letter I write or key I press defaulting to the bottom of the page when I stop typing.

If the quoted subject has a picture, it results in multiple flashes every letter I type with the text box showing for a split second, then the bottom of the page or ad, and then the picture.

This glitch has made the mobile site practically useless and infuriating because I don't know why it is happening and how to fix it. This is on safari with an Iphone 5S running latest ios software if that matters.

Thank you

You're not alone... It happens after about 10 lines down...

I just thought it was my almost crashed iPhone...

My apologies for the inconvenience this is causing. Ads definitely shouldn't interfere with posting like that. When you next see this happen, can you please take a screenshot of how it looks when the ad and the text box overlap, then post it here?

Thank you!

All good Jason! No need for apologies. I will try and screen shot it, but the thing is, when I stop typing, it defaults to either the text box or the bottom banner/ad. So it is hard to see. Might see if I can video it and upload the video of it happening and the screen flashing back and forth.

Thanks for chiming in.

I appologize for my hiatus. I took a series of pictures as I was trying to reply to a quote and pay attention to what I wrote and the text that is popping up. By that I mean I took a screenshot everytime the screen would change on it's own as I was typing.

Just to clarify what is going on in the pics above. I was replying to a quote, everytime I would hit a key, it would scroll up to somewhere in the quote, then the next time I pressed a key it would flash back to what I was writing. If I tried writing how I normally write, the screen begins quickly changing back and forth from what I am writing to somewhere in the quote everytime I click a key to the point where it would eventually show what I an writing with the overlay of the quote flashing on and off.

I hope I make sense.

Count how many lines down I put "here", that's where it started flashing....

Thanks for those screenshots and details!

I meant to ask this earlier, but which version of iOS are each of you currently running?

No worries, sorry I could not provide more concrete evidence.

I was running latest ios9 before and currently ios10 and in both cases am having the same issues.

Thanks. I was able to replicate the issue on my own iOS 10 device as well, and our tech team is now looking into it. We should hopefully have a fix soon!
