From the looks of it, the shift knob on the 1st gen CL has the same thread as most of the other MT Acuras. I don't know if it's the same size since I don't have a 1st gen CL to work with, but it looks promising from the pictures i've seen.
cool, i hope we can work things out. This is a long shot, but do you think it'll fit a 4th gen vtec lude shifter as well? I swapped one into my cl because it sits a bit lower. i THINK the thread is the same, just wondering if you knew for sure. I'll try to do some research and see if it is in fact the same or not

I work near the Bronte Go station at 3rd line and Wyecroft. I'm kind of busy with a few things right now but we'll set something up for June.

I'll probably be one of the first to order a shift boot and a knob for a 2nd gen AT CL-S. Keep us updated! Cleaning these numbers make me

I want one but need it for A/T.
Looks like I'm waiting 'till June to find out about availability and pricing.

But I absolutely, 100% have to have one!!!!!! They are very subtle, but stand out at the same time (if that makes any sense at all). Really classy and clean looking. Much nicer than any of the aftermarket shift knobs I've been looking at (MOMO, Sparco, etc.).

I want to be one of the first to get one!!!!!!
Please keep us A/T owners updated on pricing and availability!!!!

Just a quick update on the AT knobs...
Today I made excellent progress with the design and I anticipate the AT knobs to be available shortly after the initial release of the MT knobs.

It looks like the first orders will likely ship out by the end of the month.

Very interested in the shift knob. I'd like one with the gate engraved. Are you able to do it in red just like the factory knob?

Dan - Do you have any preliminary pics of the A/T knobs?

You stated earlier that the M/Ts will ship @ the end of the month, so that means the A/T won't be available until at least mid-July?!??!

I don't know if I can hold out that long!!!!

Dan,

Count me in for a A/T knob for my 2005 TL (see my avatar). How much are you charging (?Canadian $$). I'm in Vancouver.

The prototyping of AT knobs is going quite well so they'll be available shortly after the MT is on sale. We haven't announced pricing either for or but we will post that information shortly before they go on sale.
