can someone shine on this subject? when i go order part for my zdx, there is a 2010 - 2011 aspen white pearl, and there is an aspen white pearl 2 for 2013. wtf, I am ordering parking sensor and i am having my rear and front bumper repaint to match the rest of the car, don't know which white i should order?

there are tint codes attached to the color.

look at the sticker inside drivers door. it will show the exact color code then MAYBE some other characters. thats the tint code. and different years they mix colors named the same diff. so you want the same as your oem zdx year.

interesting i will check it out, i just don't want want to order the different white parking sensor then the one i have, it will stick out like sore thumb lol, thanks for the advise

The Acura parts sellers list 3 different part #s for ZDX white pearl. Only # in my 2012's door is the VIN. I'm not optimistic the parts suppliers/dealers can be trusted to deliver the correct shade of touch-up paint. I also noticed that my fuel door stands out like a sore thumb, depending on the viewing angle. Whether the door had been damaged/replaced by the previous owner, or the Canadian factory just used whatever repainted parts were on hand (assuming there ever WAS a shade change for miscellaneous/ancillary body components), or maybe it might just be the charicteristics of the 'pearl' paint formular that makes anything painted/viewed at a different angle stand out, remains to be seen.

FYI:
Just finally found out I need Aspen Pearl White II. My car was assembled 3/12.
I had test driven another white '12 made 9/11, and it was whiter. The 'II' shade has a bit of champagne tint to it.

isn't stage II more white? When I park next to the most recent generation mdx, i can tell mine is more yellow...
