Installed RV-6 J-pipe on my ZDX

I got the RV6 J-pipe for facelifted 2Gen MDX, but it does fit the ZDX despite of minor difficulties with fixing it, and it seems to be a quality product. I can't speak for possible gains cus I already had a straight pipe with rear cat deleted, but I might feel some added agility, and the sound changed too. Now it seems to be a bit quiter at low RPMs and louder at higher RPMs and I like it.

P.S. I installed it on my first aspen white Z, the brown one will get a completely different custom exhaust.

Wow awesome work I really love seeing this, one project I wanted to do but never happened. Do they still make and sell that piece? I use to follow that MDX thread but not no more.

Sure is, you my friend make me want to go buy another ZDX. If I do it will be soon. I really wish white come with Black interior for 2010-2012 models. My bills are almost paid off so I need to figure something out.

Sumatra interior is really so nice and original. Why do you dislike it?
I like rare colors and I think it was Acura's another big mistake to discontinue sumatra and umber interiors

I will soon post my facelifted bronze ZDX, I hope it will make you buy a ZDX even sooner

Oh and I noticed you sold the NSX?

I do love the Sumartra and would consider it very much if the right deal come around. To me umber is my first choice. As much as I love the black exterior I really would like something new. White, Silver, Grey would be my choices first. If a black umber popped up I would consider depending on the miles and shape.

On the NSX, that was my first one I sold a couple years ago when I picked up the Z.

pretty easy but you'd need another pair of hands to hold the pipe

On the advice of Sandro also set itself the j-pipe from "RV6 Performance". Very satisfied.
The quality is so pleased that I installed the high flow from "RV6" on my ZDX.
... and even got a small discount on the second order.

Hey Martein, I'm looking at the same solution, v6 j pipe + high flow. Have you seen any improvements on performance? What about the sound? Is there any sample online? Thx!

Hi Martein!
I really like the sound of HFPC + JPipe on your ZDX. Do you mind telling me is there any drone of the combo when you daily drive ?

The only negative - it's soft whistle from under the hood when a dynamic acceleration between 6000-7000 rpm

Zdx does not has O2 sensors on the stock J pipe. Both on primary cats.

Let me point out - you have no idea what your talking about.

Don't make me waste my time fixing wrong statements...

It's pretty clear what is sticking out of the bung.

Wow, that sucks. My 2011 doesn't have one either. Just have your local exhaust fab shop add a mounting nut for one if you haven't already.

Decided to return the J-Pipe to RV-6, I did a test fit of the pipe and it was about 3-4 inches short... SO FYI to ALL 2013 Owners nothing is simple....
Having worked for this MFG for the last 32 years - why these changes to such a short run ???, unless these fit another model.........

Did u see the pics in the 1st post. My 2012 does not have O2 on the Jpipe that"s why i thought 2013 still has the same exhaust system. So that i said both O2 on the premium cats. Sorry i also do not have time to waste yours man!
