Adjusting fuel door

Proud how? Is the entire adapter/door assembly evenly proud, or is the door cocked/not totally closed (can it be pushed back in flush)? If there is no adjustment mechanism visible, likely the best bet would be to consult whatever body shop your dealer uses. The Acura shop manual gives installation instructions, but I don't see anything obvious re: fine adjustments. If you could find a body shop employee that has done several ZDXs (or other Acura models if they use the same filler door configuration), he might know a few tricks (?). The assembly line quality/delivery persons likely knew some also, but good luck tracking one of them down!

It looks like the trailing edge is sitting just less than an 1/8 of an inch higher than the surrounding body panel.
I was wondering if there was an adjustment on tab it rests on when closed, this is the same tab that pushes it out when you go to open it
