I have a 2005 acura rsx.the ecm got wet in flood.
Can I just replace the ecm with a used one or do I need to replace ignition switch and the immobilizer as well. Any links as to how would be helpful.

I have replaced the ECM, immobilizer, ignition switch from a salvage vehicle. there are no fault codes detected. The fuel pump does come on. I have also replaced the crank shaft position sensor and the spark plugs. the engine will turnover but will not crank. there does not seem to be any fire at the plugs. I have pulled a plug and checked while turning over. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be wrong. the car only had about 2 inches of water, but it sat for a few days before we could begin to dry it out.

I'm not sure I will try tomorrow to see if the light blinks. Thank you for the reply. I've been trying to figure it out for a while at the same time as rebuilding my house from the flood.
