I am pretty much done I think. There are a couple of small things I might do like redo my grille with vinyl instead of the current plastidip+clear coat. I'd like to get a roof spoiler too eventually.

Yeah I was reading about you looking for the right spoiler. Seems most of the people you were talking with didnt quite understand what you want.

I too would be weirded out if a SPOILER was delivered in a ROLL. WTF

Id really like a roof spoiler as well. Good clean luxurious good.
I too want to do my grill, roof, and b pillar in a gloss black.
Your reflectors you did the LED strip with. Were those just plane reflectors or do they light up stock just not LEDs?

I might just end up getting that rolled up roof spoiler and just figure I am going to spend a lot of time shaping it and wrap it gloss black.

The reflectors were just plain reflectors to start out, no lights in them. I'm still not completely happy with them because they really aren't all that bright from more than like 50 feet away. Less than 50 they look good night. I spent way too much time soldering LEDs so they will probably just stay as they are.

Oh man..a roof spoiler would be lovely.
I have gloss black vinyl sitting in my garage, waiting to wrap my roof and grill. I haven't researched enough on how to do it myself yet..but I plan too eventually! Got the heat gun and everything.
On a side note, just ordered blue g2 paint for my calipers! hopefully I can get that done thursday or friday. Hitting up the Grand Canyon this weekend with the fam so no time!

Really? I find side profile shots to be the most flattering on this car.
Those white wheels look great! Makes me want to get some once I get 18's but I'll probably stick to a silver/graphite gray. Maybe bronze depending on the wheel

Got my white drls in yesterday. Installed them last night. Didn't realize I had to pull that battery tie down off and push the battery back to get to the driver side headlight. Makes me miss my integra more where everything was easy to reach.
Some douche on the ilxforums was claiming the Nokya Arctic white I suggested he get was NOT the way to go if you want white drls but luckily the shop owner was nice enough to return them after already selling two other bulb choices that the user claimed were not correct either.
So I bought these just to prove to that degenerate that he has no idea what hes talking about. They are perfect, white, and you still get high beams that light up BRIGHTER than the low beams; unlike LEDs in the drl/high bea socket.

Passenger side oem bulbs driver side coated nokya bulbs. A little dimmer, but that's assumed would happen when coating a bulb. End result is a much whiter tone and it makes takes the car from a Camry status DRL or Audi status DRLs.

Final

Also, seems the illuminati had a hand in designing our cars.

Behind my warehouse.

Again, looks great! How was it pulling that bracket off to get to the bulb?

Good catch on the illuminati! ... and what is your decal on the side rear glass in other pics?

Well of course I didnt have a deep enough socket to easily get the nut off so a wrench took 5 minutes longer than it should just to push the battery up a couple inches to reach the back of the light housing.
In my previous car you didnt have to move anything to pull the headlights out.
Just wasnt expecting to actually use tools. Lol

And its the fett clan symbol. Took that and the hylian crest off the opposite side.
Now I need to take the black off the grill bit ill probably wait a while.

Looks good! I need to get white lights but for now I'm looking into camber bolts for the front and arms for the rear so I can have them thrown on when the coils go on in the next month or two.

Can't wait to see what else you you got in store

Lights only cost me 7 bucks.
How low are you looking to go? Camber shouldnt be an issue but I understand some people need it close to 0 as possible.
Ive always preferred natural camber.

My car will be an aggressive street set up from West End (does phenomenal work). My drop will be max for the progress coilovers which should be 2 inch or so if its like their other advertised set ups. It's not quite as low as I would like for looks but should get my suspension to the level of performance I'm looking for

Yeah the stage1 nokyas run a lil dim as drls but they do the job perfectly and are still very visible during the day.
The high beams also still had a lot of light to the road ontop of the low beams so the intensity is just fine.

Stage2 would be brighter but ive read about the plastic housing melting so I played it say.

I suggest stage1 only if the stage2 run too hot. No one wants to replace their entire headlight because the plastic housing on the bulb fused to it.

Site is slow? Head over to the 3G side! Pleny of derp galore for you to feast on there. I always hit "find new posts" when done with my sub'd threads so I'm open to any aspect of the site.

Love your build thread and love your pictures. Your incorporation of your signature/watermark into that first batch of pictures blew my mind. Your chops to show how amazing the ILX can look, also amazing. I dig everything you've done so far. 29mpg, in my dreams. I will say that even after knowing how driving style will affect mpg, I was recently floored by the fact that just by changing my shift point from 3500 rpms to 2500 I saw an increase of nearly 5 mpg.

Plus, to a fellow grammmer natsi.

hahaha How could you tell it pains me how slow this section moves?
I guess I do need to start opening up to the entire site. Even the derps dont post enough to keep me occupied.

Thank you for the kind words.
I'll have to start putting a watermark in my pictures again.

I was hoping to get my average past 27 but Ive come down to 26 and seem to be staying around there. I have a heavy foot so I could get better if I drove slower.

Intake & footwell/license plate/reverse LED lights on the way.
Should all be here and plugged in Friday.

About to pass out after working 28 hours in the last 2 days. Had a HUGE ammo sale and made the owners so happy. I'll be happy when my paycheck comes in. Maybe I'll be able to order a sway bar soon. Then probably start saving for my wheels.

In the mean time your stocks don't look half bad at all!

PS, were you able to run the 15MM version 2 spacers finally? I was going to chime in but was late to the party, I knew what you meant because on my fiancee's 8th gen accord HER oem's didn't have enough space to house the tip of the studs because the 15 wasn't deep enough to bury them. Had to do 20.

You had mentioned there not being any traffic...I agree, that happens on my8th or ...I post stuff and go back a week later, NOTHING!

to modding and that big paycheck!

I never actually bought spacers. Ive decided to just wait for new wheels. However I did confirm there is a good amount of space cut out so I'd think any size spacer will fit fine. Hope Im not wrong. :/

Believe me I definitely put thought into just paying shit off. But come october I will get three checks between car payment periods. So one entire check will pay off the tickets I have. I got both pushed back to November 25th and December 2nd.

I may grab a sway bar before the tickets are paid. Then wheels and an exhaust. Then start saving for coilovers which I imagine I'll get around spring. May get some small cosmetic mods done here and there. Going to look into light tinting in my area as well as some vinyl to replace the plastidip on the grill with a glossy black.
