1. I've never had a car with sport mode and I have to admit it's pretty fun to drive my '16 ILX in sport mode. However my question is if the downshifting is supposed to be so dramatic and jerky in sport mode? Is that just typical? Any long term effects on the transmission to be concerned about?

2. What are people's experience Driving a '13-'16 ilx in snowy or Ivey conditions? I know AWD might be more ideal, but I've heard FWD with good all seasons (like Nokians) perform pretty well. Anyone have any major issues in the snow?

I don't have sport mode or the DCT, so I have no comments on that. However, I do use my car often for skiing/snowboarding. I have had no issues. If you need extra grip, snow tires on this thing will make it grip just fine.
