Noticing a lot of ILX's on the road now.

After first purchasing our 2016 ILX in February I started to notice that I hardly ever saw other ILX's on the road. Although we love the car and glad we bought it, I was thinking what if this car isn't a hit and Acura stops producing them because of sales. I was thinking about the resale value loss on a vehicle that's no longer in production.

6 months later and now I see a ton of them, at least here in the Bay Area. I'm assuming the upgrades to the 2016 made a big difference in sales. I sleep better now knowing that I can sell it some day!

Youre not the only one man, I've seen a RISE of ILX's in SoCal since the last year that i bought mine. Of course whenever i see a 2016 i geek out because im so jealous that i couldnt have that front end on mine. But not alot of people are driving the 6 speed ILX's.

Out of everyone I see modding them there are way more 6 speeds.

You see more people mod 6speeds? I mean based what i see from school and freeways, the ILXs i see either dont have fog lights, the red dash, and i can tell how the car doesn't shift weight like shifting gears would.

And how many of those ILXs are modded?

Look around here and all the modded ILXs are 6speeds.

only seen about 4 2016 ILX's on the road in Philly, none of them were a-spec

see a ton of RDX and MDX's tho, a million of them on the road everyday lol

I still see alot of older Acura car models, TL and RL.....a few TLXs

I've seen a few ILXs in SoCal as well. Though most of them were either base models with standard head units or non-aspec premium or tech package models. I've seen a few older 2014 and 2015s too.

That is correct, its more appealing to mod the 6speed.

The other day in Brea, i saw a 16' A-Spec Blue ILX that was dropped with some foreign wheels. It was nice...
