2016 ILX Prices Paid
#2
Lease / 36mos / 12,000 miles per year/ Premium/ $1000 down and $399 a month w/ tire protection and a year of oil changes (which equals less than 2 oil changes, but hey.. I'll take it). Probably could have gotten a better deal if my credit were excellent, but they came down quite a bit from a ridiculous starting amount.

When the last TSX got it's MMC (2011?) it also got thicker glass to make it a little quieter. The ILX is still not that quiet compared to a TSX. No rear A/C vents either.

I don't like making a list of just negatives, but that being said I can point the few out that I've noticed. There are some concessions you have to be ready to make (I also test drove the TLX, but given my budget and living in a larger city the ILX won) : smaller head room - I am only 5'8'' so this feels kind of like a cockpit and it is enjoyable, but it would be uncomfortable for taller people. less supportive seating - unlike our land-yacht TSXs, the ILX has slightly smaller but noticeably less bracing/supportive seats, and less room inside the cabin overall. Materials - also less expensive feeling, but this is a "sport sedan" so the materials seem appropriate to me.
All of that being said, I'm glad to have switched to it given the slick 8 speed auto, new engine, safety and tech features, etc. Feel free to ask again in month and I can give better feedback in case I end up totally hating it.

Just picked up my 2016 ILX Base this saturday.
Lease: $0 down, $0 first payment, 39 months / 12K / Year
$325 / Month (includes 8% Tax and all dealer fees etc)
A+ Credit.
I thought I got a good deal considering the advertised lease deal is $300 a month before taxes/fees and with only 10K/Year.

I went from a 2012 TSX to a 2015 2.4 ILX, it is definitely less luxurious but makes up for it sportiness and in the amount of fun I have driving the car. I lowered my TSX on H&Rs and enjoyed it as a reliable daily, was far to heavy(and automatic) to start putting more performance mods IMO more of a looker than a driver. I know its not a 2016 but its very similar power wise and minus the new body panels its the same car. Depends on what you are trying to get out of your car.

Looking into a ILX lease for the wife.
There used to be an azine member here (corey_straker) who had access to dealer info on lease deals, dealer cash, etc.
Anyone know where to find the dealer cash amounts, etc.?
Corey helped me get a smoking deal on my TL, just wanted to repeat for the wifey. PMs to him have gone unanswered.

^^ He has left the Acura dealership he worked at and I think it was because he was sharing too much information to members *lol* It was great for consumers but I suspect the dealer or corporate wasn't very appreciative.....Speculation on my part of course.

Anyone know of any other sources for dealer cash incentives, preferred lease terms, etc?

I purchased an 2016 ILX Tech Plus + Aspec for $34000.00 + TTL. I actually had to go to multiple dealerships to achieve this. I gave one another chance to beat that price, but they refused.

wow, people are finding some slick deals on these cars. I think I might give it a shot to see if I can get a great deal. Not sure if I wanna part ways with my STi yet. Acura, I need a type-S...you lost me to so many other brands because your cars just aren't sporty enough

My CBP Premium Aspec was ~32,000 on the final receipt
Doing a 39month, 15k, 0 down lease for $499 which includes (tax's included, otherwise it be like $445) They also threw in the 1st months payment, registration fees etc (about $1000 i would have had to pay that they covered no problem)
Walked out of the dealer ship paying nothing for the first 5 weeks until the next months payment paperwork came through. (though i did add ~1500 worth of additional accessories after the fact, A-Spec F/R Aero, trunk trey/hook, illuminated side sills, side moldings, Philips LED Fog/Reverse lights, etc-etc. So i guess the total for the way my car sits now would be perhaps $33500 ish. But still a damn fun, comfortable, surprisingly efficient, great looking ride.

Just purchased mine last week!
2016 ILX Base (white/ebony interior) ~25,900 for car & ~28600 out the door.
I think it's a good deal considering car is 28,820 MSRP, but we did put down a pretty big down payment as well.

Hi all,
Purchased a 2016 ILX Premium package (June 2015 in Northern California).
MSRP was $30,820 with destination.
Dealer took off about $2000.
Final purchase price was $28,858
Dealer paid doc fees, DMA fees, tire fees, and first month's payment.
Dealer did charge acquisition fee so those are fun hidden fees found in a lease.
Leased for $0 down, 36 months at 10K miles a year.
Final monthly was $343 + $30 (monthly tax) = $373 a month.
Other fact that may be of interest to potential buyers:
Residual value of 2016 ILX Premium after 36 months is expected to be = $17,567.
Keep that in mind when trying to price out your lease. The majority of cost is the difference between (your purchase price + plus hidden lease fees + the DMA doc fees + registration) and the Residual value.

Hi, I walked into the dealership to take a look at the car, did test drive and....I signed the deal on the same day. I got BWP 2016 ILX Premium Package.
Dealer took off $2000 off from the MSRP plus removed extra fees except government taxes. I was eligible for 2% rate reduction, so ended up signing 4 year lease agreement with 0.01% interest rate.
I know I could've save myself couple hundred more if I went to different dealer, but what can you do (I promised the dealer if he takes $2000 off from MSRP + remove all fees, he would have the deal today....then he met my price :'()

Did not purchase a 2016 ILX (yet) - Decided to hold onto my 2013 ILX Hybrid Tech until maybe the end of the summer or until the end of the year, but I did contact dealers to get a quote for a 2016 ILX Tech Plus (MSRP $33820)
The first quote I got was around sticker ($33000), then I got a few offers for around $31000 (+/- ~$200)
However, then, I got this offer: $29,252, or . That price includes destination, doc fees, dealer fees. I would only have to pay $29,252 + Taxes, title, registration. For me, that ended up being a touch above $30,400 OTD. I am confident that I could have negotiated even lower - to around $30k OTD, possibly even lower, but I decided to hold onto my 2013 ILX for now.

Cancel all the dealer added crap:
1) Key Replacement- Acura Roadside assistance will take help with unlocking your car
2) Dent and Ding/Protection Package- My guess is that these are very hard to make claims on. Read the fine print. Also, be okay with a few small imperfections! Its not a show car!
3) Maintenance agreement- Seems like you are only saving a small amount of money per oil change. What if you move or distrust this dealer? I would at least check to make sure it is an Acura approved policy (highly doubt it unless you asked for it)
4) Predelivery fee- AKA- Dealer Added Profit. Seems way too high. See if this can be marked down. Acura already charges a destination fee that is included in your purchase price. Don't pay the dealer twice to prep your car.

Agree fully. All that noise was hog wash.
Never buy dealer add ons or the maintenance plans. They are worse than extended warranty upsell attempts and that's saying something because extended warranties are pretty bad to begin with.
Always remember, they aren't selling their extra junk because the service will somehow lose them money.
If you can get any of that money back, then yes. I don't envy that conversation.

Got my 2016 ILX A-Spec + Tech for about $31,700 + fees etc. I made out like a bandit. It pays to purchase a car on the last day of the month. Dealerships are down to wheel and deal

Three Wheelin'
I just got quoted a 16' ILX Base, same terms, mileage, $0 down, $407/month...???

Forgot to mention the dealer threw in 3 year maintenance which I declined at first since it was going to bump my monthly to 310, they ended up giving it to me for free.
