Roadside Mitigation

I have my roadside mitigation set for warning only. I recently noticed I no longer get a 'warning' when getting close to edge of road, and yes, I am going more then 45 mph. My LKAS works just fine. Any other owners experience this?

Does not work with mitigation set to Normal, either (the shaking sensation).

Being over 45mph is a condition yes but the camera also has to have clear information on the lane markings. If your LKAS is working, I would try to hit the lane marking WHILE your also using your LKAS. See if when you hit the lane marking the steering wheel vibrates you back in. Make sure all settings are on normal and the button to the left of the steering wheel is on. Your signature says you have Advance Package which is needed for the Lane Departure Mitigation (Tech pkg only has Lane Departure Warning and won't actually bring you back it will only warn you). Let us know if you still can't get it to work!

I finally got some form of reaction this morning - after I was 3 ft past the marker. Try it again and it did not happen. I guess my next dealer visit will include a check on this feature.

It could be the camera like spoiler900 said. I think others have had issues where they had to have the camera fixed or re-mounted or something in the past.

With LKAS and RM both on I get a shaking sensation when approaching lane markings; with LKAS off and RM on I do not get any feedback whatsoever, nor do I get the Warning message.

If its after you PASSED the lane marking it reacts you need to change your settings. go to SETTINGS >> VEHICLE SETTINGS >> and then choose Road Departure Mitigation (or however its labeled in there) and set it to "Normal" not "Wide"

Hmm, does not sound normal to me. I work at Acura in sales and neve heard of this. As mentioned, I would try it with LKAS on and mimic the same thing in the same place with LKAS off and see if it does not. If its already set to "Normal" not "Wide" it sounds like an issue to me.

At dealer now having it looked at - road departure mitigation works initially but then will not work until I turn off the car, and then will work the first time but not again until I turn car off. Wife has no issue at all with RDM - works all the time for her. So something to do with key fob?

Dealer's tech said "...operates as designed". Next time I will have shop foreman ride with me so he can personally experience what I am with this. It baffles why the LKAS works OK but RDM doe snot; they use the same camera. Seems to me to be a Sw issue. And, got the parking break 'squeak" fixed - new pads and caliper; that tool 10 days. Thank goodness for loaner cars.

Actually, I got the terminology wrong, not RDM, but LDW (Lane Departure Warning) does not work every time.

I will be taking my TLX back in for this annoying anomaly. I have my LDW set to warning only. IF the Main Switch is on and the LKAS button engaged on the steering wheel it works as designed. Once I turn off the Main Switch and LKAS on the steering wheel my LDW 'sometimes' works. I know the parameters that must be met for it to work; +45mph, not braking, not using lane change signal, etc. If I cross a lane marker I sometimes will get +3 beeps, as I should. More times than not I get one beep, maybe 2 beeps, and sometimes nothing. If I get the one or two beeps on a test then try again immediately afterwards by drifting out of my lane no response at all. This time the shop foreman (who is a great guy and top notch mechanic) will ride with me and I will duplicate. Curious if anyone has noticed this anomaly with the TLX Adv.
