Yes I got it aligned 1 week after I lowered it to make sure the springs were settled and bushing were set. I have 18000 miles on it now and have had it lowered for 17500 of them. I also have replaced the tires 2 times as well, so I know it isn't the tires as they balance and road force perfectly. However after driving for 3-6 months with the car as it shimmies, it does mess up the tires as they are rolling smoothly. This is my 7th Acura, needless to say it is going to be my last. Not because of the issues I am experiencing, but because of how Acura has treated me with taking care of the issue, they say it is within factory specifications. So a $40,000 car is supposed to wobble I guess, fucking joke.

I understand your frustrations. cars are supposed to just work especially dropping that much coin on one.
I've never bought new, but my used TL will likely be my first and last Honda product. there's just soo many exciting others out there!
and btw, your car looks FANTASTIC even with the wobbling issues

Car looks great! Funny how my 2000 Acura TL is better built than most of the new Acuras. I've hear a few rattles driving around in the TLX, but none from the TL. I'm about to lower the TLX and get new wheels, hopefully I don't come across that wobble.

What in the world causes a car to wobble? Can you explain the symptoms in more detail? What do you feel, what do you hear, what do you see, etc.
I highly doubt we can diagnose anything, but it's just damn bizarre for a brand new car to do that. I'm surprised Acura didn't blame it on something stupid, like the lowering springs.
Also, how quickly are you going through a set of tires? You mentioned it in a sentence earlier, but I think there's a typing mistake, because it doesn't make sense

If we knew what was causing it to wobble/shimmy at high speed, we would fix it. I wish I knew what it was. The issue is, sometimes it is worse that others. However driving on long road trips it is a nuisance as the more you drive the worse it seems to get. Almost seems like a bushing softening as it heats up or something that isn't strong enough. I am no engineer, but Acura has a large spread problem here and they are failing to acknowledge the issue, or a formulate a resolution. I think it is due to something that spins that isn't designed right because something is definitely out of balance and it definitely is not the tires as they have been road forced and balanced at my local discount tire, Acura dealer, and a 2nd Discount tire store to eliminate the "its the tires excuse". I also replaced the tires not once, but twice to insure I wasn't somehow coincidentally getting defective tires time and time and time again.
The tires do seem to unbalance themselves as they obviously would be affected with a car whose axles or bushings are causing something to spin untrue.

you are correct. However my car is a lease and I am all in money wise as far as upgrades. I sold my factory wheels/tires to offset the expense of the new ones so it didn't cost me that much. getting all the chrome black vinyl would look good or even painted. Maybe on the next rig if the manufacturer I choose isn't smart enough to use black trim. Chrome is definitely tacky
