UR Lightweight Pully for V6 TLX's
I wanted to throw this idea out here to hopefully get some power for your new TLX!
I doubt the pully diameter has changed on the new earth-dreams J35 engine. Perhaps the one that fit the 2004-2014 TL can fit on the new TLX. If anyone visits a dealership, can you get the part number for the crank pulley? If it's the same as the older ones it might be a direct swap!

I'm curious as well. What would be the benefit vs. the disadvantage? For what you would gain in power, would you lose in some other aspect? I'm not really wanting any more power, but a few more ponies would be nice I suppose.

I see. Thanks for the info. More quickness is always welcome no matter how little. Will it have negative effects on the tranny? Sorry but i dont know shit when it comes to the engine/tranny

I called up Excelerate about this, had this on the 3.7 Shawd and made a difference in pick up and response.
it should be a direct fit if you google the part number 13810-5G0-A01 all the older years do show up and this should fit
XLR8 Aluminum Pulleys - Excelerate Performance - Japanese and European Performance Specialists!!

correct the car felt lighter more quicker on its feet than compared to the stock pulley, only if the tranny would of shifted better :-/ . I think this would make a difference on our TLX's as well.

the crank pulley is very tight from the factory, some folks have reported needing an 700 ft/lb impact gun to get the bolt off. Many others have used the starter blip method too. Buy the tool to hold the pulley, makes life a lot easier.
Did anyone figure out if it's the same diameter? There's also a lightweight power steering pulley for sale in the black market.

Thanks for giving us a call! As mentioned, it should be a direct fit. That being said, we haven't verified this fitment and so we can't technically guarantee it. If someone takes the plunge, let us know so we can update our website.

Hey guys I got this part last week from EXCELERATE, as soon as my car comes back from the dealer with a fixed transmission hopefully lol I'm going to put this on and post results. It should be a direct bolt on.

Now the pulley :-) great off the line you finally get the slight push back in the seat. Accelerating is not choked and on the highway it pulls and goes effortlessly now. The car feels lighter accelerating same as my 4G did. Response is faster. Now I do have a drop In kandN and a new tranny, this car is a different machine overall now. I love it
