This is the final result. Love how it sits in the engine bay.

I'm being lazy here, but is there a V6 version available yet? If so have you had a chance to put one in? I've seen your excellent post on lowering and your ground effects and 20" vossen mods and I must compliment you on your amazingly detailed posts.

If you've already posted about the V6 I apologize and I probably should do some research anyway.

I should have just scrolled down about 8 posts first.

NEVERMIND!! Except about the part that complimented you on your excellent post with the detailed info. What you do really gives some of us backyard mechanics the courage to attempt something we probably wouldn't have done otherwise.

Love to help the AZ community.

I didn't forget where I come from. I was taught by someone else, I am just passing the same knowledge along.

Hopefully they'll have a piping or complete exhaust option soon!

looks like you gain power at high RPM but lose at low RPM ... still the sound might help to love it

Here's a message I received from RV6:

We haven't had the pleasure of having anyone bring in a TLX to our shop for testing. However the gains should be very similar to the 13+ Accord which shares a similar engine. The gains were 13WHP and 10WTQ.

http://www.rv6-p.com/products/accord...Jpipe-ONLY.jpg
PREORDER: RV6? Long Tube Jpipe for 13+ Accord V6 (3.5L)

The Jpipe changes the exhaust note slightly making it more aggressive and deeper.

With your engine making more power less effort will be needed to get up to speed. This increases your gas millage, however if you drive more aggressively due to the increase in power you will surely consume more gas.

This is item is not CARB legal as it removes the secondary catalyst. There is really no way to make it CARB legal since the secondary catalyst is welded to the factory Jpipe.

Regards

Rich

Hi Rich,

I am interested in the downpipe. Are you planning on developing other products for the I4?

Anyone else have any experience with this mod? Is it worth it? Also does this particular mod make our TLXs CARB illegal? I think it only removes the precat.

Does installing this PCD throw any CEL's? In my state its just a ODB / readiness code check and visual inspection (they just ask if you have a cat).
